YMCA SUMMER CAMP FAQ:How do I register for camp? There are a two ways to register. You can always register in any of our 9 YMCA of Greater Omaha locations at the Welcome Center. You may also print a registration form from our website (metroymca.org) and bring the completed form to your local YMCA of Greater Omaha location.

When is the registration deadline? Our camps are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Some of our more popular camps fill up quickly so planning before school is out is a great idea, but weunderstand the occasional need to register the week before camp. Camp registration opens January 1.

How does payment work for summer camp?A one-time registration fee of $25 per child is due when upon registration. This will secure your spot. Additionally, our summer day camp and Camp Platte registrations require a $20 non-refundable deposit per child per week.We offer automatic payment, which will be drafted 3 days prior to the camp start date. Weekly fees are due the Friday prior to your child’s camp week. Payment is due in full before your child can attend camp.

What options are available for financial aid?We want every child to have the opportunity to attend summer camp.If you are need of financial assistance, request a financial aid application from any of our nine YMCA of Greater Omaha locations. Title XX and Title 19 is not accepted at Armbrust or any specialty camps. Scholarship is given after Title XX and Title 19 options have been denied. Complete the financial aid application and return to the Welcome Center with your Title XX/19 denial letter. If you have more questions, the Youth & Family Director at each location will beavailable to assist.
