Enrolment Information Payment must be made at time of booking for all sessions.

Please arrive on time for all sessions as they commence with a demonstration by the tutor.

All classes for children aged six years and over are for children only. Parents should not stay in the classroom but are welcome to wait elsewhere in the centre.

Refunds will only be considered more than seven days prior to commencement of a class.

An administration fee of $5 per class applies to refunds.

Please bring a smock for all clay and art classes. Please bring an apron and a container for all cooking classes.

Ceramic / Visual Arts Performing Arts / Cooking / Family

Fun with Clay – Learn to hand-build and paint a clay project for firing and glazing. BYO smock.

Wheely Wild Wheel Work – Learn to make pottery pieces on the wheel. Choose two pots to be decorated and glazed. BYO smock and towel.

Kindy Clay/Craft – Adult and child work together to create imaginative art pieces.

Visual Arts/Craft – Bring your imagination to life on the page, create masterpieces with pastels, pencils, watercolours or collage.

Stencil Art Aerosol – In this hands-on workshop with street artist Michael Fikaris, learn to make an image come to life through the art of aerosol stencils.

Claymation - Animation – Work collaboratively and undertake the entire animation process. Learn the basic techniques, setting up equipment, creating scenes, animating models and the final production process. BYO lunch and new USB.

Printmaking - Beep Beep! Inking Kombi! – Take part in this unique printmaking class with artists Mat Vaughan and Nicola Letts. Inking Kombi involves inking up parts from a ‘73 Kombi bus “the Old Girl” then pressing them onto rice paper. BYO lunch.

Basket Weaving: Placemats and Coasters – Weave a placemat or a series of coasters for your home. Work with colourful and textural fibres.

Ukulele – The ukulele is an easy and enjoyable introduction to learning a musical instrument. BYO ukulele if you have one.

Youth Visual Arts - Pop Art Painting – Transform an ordinary object into something interesting and exciting.

Dance - Hip Hop – Fun and energetic, learn dance moves to the latest hits. Please wear pants and runners (no skirts or loud shoes). BYO water bottle.

Horrible Harriet! Tuesday 26 September – Join us on this fun art day inspired by the stage performance at the Whitehorse Centre in the September school holidays. Create a colourful pen and ink illustration, cook up a storm in the kitchen and hand-build Horrible Harriet and her nest in clay.

Emoji, Tuesday 3 October – Express yourself! Create your own Emoji badges and decorate a bag to keep them in, bake some delicious Emoji cookies and make your own 3D Emoji character out of clay.

Let’s Celebrate our Grandparents, Friday 6 October Celebrate your grandparents with this themed Art Day. Enjoy the special classical music performance ‘Carnival of the Animals’ performed by Inventi Ensemble, collage a portrait of your grandparent and paint a picture of your grandparents favourite animal. Grandparents welcome at the concert, $10 per ticket.

Inventi Plays ‘Carnival of the Animals’ – This is a special classical music performance for children and seniors. Join Inventi Ensemble for an interactive concert involving a five-player arrangement of Saint-Saen’s score, along with narration and interactive elements for the children at every step of the way!
