To improve the fitness level of students and to increase the fruit intake of students and to raise awareness for germ control and the spread of germs related to handwashing.

All Divisions Academic Year Teacher, Principal School resources Fruity Fridays are in May and June and funded by HAT.

Students are participating in DPA and there is improved student focus in class. Students are engaging in proper handwashing, sneezing into their sleeve etc. to limit the amount of germs passed on and to prevent against sickness. More students sign up to participate in the walking club. Students are eating one serving of fruit and learning the value of nutrition and fruity facts.

Students will learn more conflict solving strategies through classroom lessons in different subject areas like Language Arts, Drama, Fully Alive and Religion. The Second Step program and Stand up, Speak Out program in the grade 7 & 8 agenda, will be used to supplement and assist teachers in their program.

To celebrate the diverse cultures in our school community by celebrating a CSAC run Multicultural night, and other events that brings the school community together like the Christmas celebration, Education Week Activities and the Lip Sinc fundraising event.

Peer Mediation program enables students to mediate and assist other students in solving minor problems during the recess times.
