Technology is a body of knowledge which is used todevelop skills, solve problems and overcome humans

limitations. It has help develop a more advance economy.Technology has made life more easier. Technology can do

a lot of things as it is doing in the recent time and ondaily events. We can see everyday that some inventions in

many fields such as agriculture has become a veryimportant aspect of in our life. Without technology wewould not have the benefit s that we have today.

    HOW THE DEVICES FUNCTION

MICROPHONE It is an acoustic to electric transducer or sensor that converts sound into

    anelectrical signal.

Microphones are used in many applications such as telephones.tape

recorders, karaoke system, hearing aids and for non-acoustic purposessuch as ultrasonic checking or knock sensors.

MICROSCOPE It is an instrument used to see objects that are to small for our naked

eyes. The science of investigating small objects using such an instrument is

    called microscopy.

Microscopic means invisible to the eye unless aided by a microscope.

TELESCOPE It is an instrument that aids in the observation of remote objects by

    collecting electromagnetic radiation.(such asvisible light)

They found use in terrestrial applications and astronomy.

LOUDSPEAKER It makes sound louder so that they can be heard from a greater

    distance.

Mormally teachers uses a loudspeaker to make announcements inschool.

HEARING AIDS Makes sound louder so that people with hearing problems can hear

    clearly.

STETHOSCOPE Amplifies the sound of our heart beat so that it can be heard clearly.

It works by gathering sound and sending it to the ear of the listener.

A stethoscope is also used to detect problems with the lungs.

    HOW WERE THE DEVICES INVENTED?

Alhazen (Ibn Al-Haytham), a great authority on

optics in the Middle Ages who lived around

1000AD, invented the first pinhole camera, (also

called the Camera Obscura} and was able toexplain why the images were upside down. The

first casual reference to the optic laws that made

pinhole cameras possible, was observed and

noted by Aristotle around 330 BC, who

questioned why the sun could make a circularimage when it shined through a square hole.

In 1816, the kaleidoscope was invented by Scottish scientist, Sir

David Brewster, and patented by him in 1817 (GB 4136).

David Brewster named his invention after the Greek words, kalosor beautiful, eidos or form, and scopos or watcher. Sokaleidoscope means the beautiful form watcher. The

kaleidoscope creates reflections of reflections of a direct view of

the objects at the end. The image will be symmetrical if the

mirror angle is an even divider of 360 degrees.
