Accomodation

As you would expect on a luxury cruise vessel, whatever cabin or suite you choose you will enjoy spacious accommodation, finished in the most beautiful materials and to the highest standard. You'll have full control of your own climate thanks to the individual air-conditioning units. There is under-bed luggage storage and wardrobes for your use. Your ensuite bathroom has been designed to make use of all available space and completed by some of the finest craftsmen in the Maldives.

5 Manta Suites

Situated on the main deck the Manta suites are the largest rooms on-board. Most of these suites have a bed that can be used as twin beds or a "bigger-than-super-king" double bed. But don't worry, when used as a double, there isn't the unpleasant gap between the mattresses. With the very generous size, the superbly appointed seating area and the panoramic three meter wide window, the Mantas benefit from a feel of light and space you rarely find on any safari vessel. The huge windows are set into the hull so there is no

companionway outside, giving you total privacy and apart from the occasional boat or sea bird your views will be uninterrupted. We know you'll be more than a little blown away!! 3 Dolphin Suites

Our beautifully designed Dolphin suites are placed on the main deck and are totally stunning. Not only do they have a "king-size" double bed, but these majestic suites have been designed to also accommodate a seating area. The

Dolphins with their gorgeous ensuites would be fabulous enough, but as we want you to truly experience the Maldives, even when you are in your room. To achieve this, we have placed huge three meter wide panoramic windows, set directly into the hull with no companionway outside, thus no foot traffic.

1 Cowrie Suite

Our Cowrie suite nestles snugly in the bow of the lower deck. This uniquely

individual suite has a shape all of its own. Not only does it have a king-size double bed but its size allowed us the luxury of fitting a sofa that can be transformed into a very comfortable third bed. As the Cowrie spans the width of the bow it benefits from having four opening Portlights. This lavish air-conditioned suite also has a truly jaw-dropping ensuite which houses the largest shower on-board ... Go on, spoil yourself.

12 Sea Star Cabins

Our sumptuous and spacious Sea Star Cabins are all situated on the lower deck. Every one is air-conditioned and has its own en-suite shower room. All

Sea Stars have a king-size double bed, some even benefiting from a third bed. Each cabin is generously fitted with two opening Portlights. We have taken great care in ensuring that every detail of the cabin design harmoniously intertwines with the selected materials to create something we hope you will truly enjoy.


Restaurant and bars

Our excellent restaurant offers fine cuisine, both local and international, all prepared freshly in a professionally designed kitchen; you will enjoy three mouth-watering, buffet style meals a day. We also carefully selected for you the most beautiful wines and champagnes, which are kept in professional wine storage at the perfect temperature. In a Lagoon bar-lounge you can order some a-la-carte snacks or freshly ground coffee specialties. The Sea Breeze bar is equipped with a barbecue and serves snacks and cold drinks to sun worshippers

CHECK IN/OUT TIME

All cruises start and end on Saturdays. The South and North Tours alternate on a weekly basis.

Check-in starts at 14.00 PM on arrival day – latest arrival until 16:00 PM at the airport! Check-out time is 10.00 hrs on departure day

TRANSFERS

Transfer is included only from Male’ Airport to Scubaspa vessel and from Scubaspa vessel to Male’ Airport on arrival and departure days (Saturdays). In other cases (late arrivals/ early departures) transfers must be booked in advance and paid additionally in total by the Guest.

Further Activities Getting wet – the temptation to enjoy the warm luminescent

turquoise lagoons may at times prove too tempting, so a swim is never more than a few

steps away, as is a view into the paradise below the ocean’s surface with some snorkelling equipment. You can always opt for a quick (or long) dip in the Sundeck Jacuzzi with panoramic views of sea and distant islands and perhaps a cool cocktail to top off the experience! Beach barbecue – everyone loves a beach barbecue, ours come with

a difference. This will be on a deserted island with the crystal clear sparkling waters lapping just a few feet from you. Magical! Enjoy good food, good company, a spectacular location and the

most amazing sunset vista. Local Island visit – your visit to a „local island“, one that is inhabited

by native Maldivians helps you appreciate the pure simplicity that has created the peace that is „the Maldives“. On these islands you‘ll experience true local life away from the rush and hurry of Male and the luxury of the resort island. (possibility depending on the route) Male excursion – for a few hours you can explore the main city

island of Malé either accompanied or by yourself. The vibrant buzz of the commercial and cultural hub is unlike anything else in the Maldives. Snorkelling – for those who have not yet been tempted to undertake

a scuba diving course, we like to give a small taster of the amazing life below the surface of a Maldivian reef, by offering snorkelling excursions. All necessary equipment is available.

Sunset fishing – for those who enjoy freshly caught fish, a sunset

fishing trip can be arranged on request, before the evening meal if weather conditions permit. Our chef will be delighted to prepare your catch for you. Reading – our library houses a variety of good reading material

some of which looks at the focal activities of diving and spa,

others give you greater insight into the Maldives, its history and its fascinating culture and people as well as the lighter reading material that is often synonymous with holiday relaxation.

Movies – there will be occasional movie nights where recent movie

releases will be screened as well as some of those popular classics. We will also have regular evening showings of the days diving on video. Relaxation creation – around Scubaspa Ying there are numerous

places for you to create your perfect relaxation. It may be one of the two bars, it could be on any one of the available decks or it could be in the lounge. Whether for music, socializing, reading, sunning yourself or simply just „being“... you choose, you create, you enjoy!

Resort island visit – depending on the route and our position, there may be an opportunity to spend some

time on a resort island, to sample this aspect of the Maldives again a complete contrast to both Male‘ and

the local islands.

Essential information for your comfort

SMOKING

Smoking on the vessel (in particular inside of the suites) is strictly prohibited and only allowed in the designated exterior open deck areas. Any violation of this non-smoking rule may result in a USD 250 cleaning fee to be charged on the guest’s account

ALCOHOL

Guests are prohibited from bringing their own alcoholic beverages onboard or to take off board any alcoholic beverages purchased onboard. Scubaspa is committed to the responsible service of alcohol during the cruise. Guests must be 18 years or over to purchase or consume alcohol onboard. Scubaspa reserves the right to refuse the sale of such beverages to any intoxicated or underage guest. No Maldivian citizenship guests can purchase alcohol on board.


RIGHTS OF THE CAPTAIN / CREW

All guests must follow all safety instructions issued by the Captain, cruise manager or the members of the vessel’s crew. If a guest seriously affects the safety or enjoyment of any person on board, the Captain and/or the cruise manager have the right to confine, discipline or disembark the guest. In such cases Scubaspa is not responsible for any expenses that may cause. In case of disembarkation no compensation or the refund will be paid by Scubaspa. SAFETY & SECURITY

Should the guest become aware of anyone being injured or of unsafe or any possibly illegal, suspicious or inappropriate behavior during the cruise, it is very important to immediately report this to the Captain or the vessel's crew. MEDICATION AND HEALTH CONSIDERATION

The vessel has available on board a first aid trained staff only. Therefore, the guests should be aware that any medical assistance while at sea or in port is extremely limited or not available. In the event of illness or accident guests may have to be landed ashore for a proper medical treatment. Guests must ensure that they bring an adequate supply of any medication they require for the entire duration of the cruise.

MINIMUM DIVE EXPERIENCE

Only guests who hold a PADI Open Water license or an internationally recognized equivalent, may book any of Scubaspa’s holiday packages, which include scuba diving other than scuba diving courses. At the time of boarding the vessel, all diving guests are required to show proof of their diving license, logbook, an appropriate medical diving insurance and medical statement/certificate, assuring that they are fit for diving. All divers will be asked to complete a liability release waiver prior to diving. TRAVEL & DIVING INSURANCE

Scubaspa strongly recommends that all guests purchase comprehensive international travel and diving insurance

that includes also medical treatment and baggage protection, as well as the costs of cancellation or interruption of the cruise, airfare costs and/or other expenses. TOUR PLAN & CHANGES

Guests must be aware that the proposed tour plan is subject to changes! Changes in route may become necessary for a variety of reasons such as weather and sea conditions, guest emergencies, unexpected mechanical or technical issues.
