Attention First Communion Parents! Please mark your calendars for a MANDATORY meeting for the parents of the students preparing for First Holy Communion. January 23rd at 6:00 p.m. in the Romagosa Parish Life Center. A schedule will be given for the final classes, times and requirements.

Centennial Indulgence – an indulgence granted by Pope Francis can be gained throughout this Centennial Year by all who visit the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist and pray the Centennial Prayer (with the usual conditions for an indulgence). Please see the Diocesan
Webpage for more information. The Centennial Prayer will be in the Cathedral beginning January 11th or you may print it from the webpage (available in various languages on webpage).
This free program is a much deeper study of the magnificent teaching of St. John Paul II than the Introductory Course. It consists of eight, sessions using videos by Christopher
West. We will expand each of the topics covered previously in order to allow the light of Christ to shine in our own hearts. Cost: Workbook is $20

Baby Bottle Campaign Sponsored by OLPS Youth Group
Baby bottles will be available at all entrances of the Church throughout the month of January for donations to be made to support the DesOrmeaux Foundation, a local organization dedicated to defending human life at all stages of development, born and unborn. The campaign will continue until Sunday, January 28.

Pro-Life March Activities Vigil Mass on January 19 at 7pm at St. Pius X in Lafayette (tickets required – free). Rosary Congress from January 19 – 26 in the St. Pius X Adoration Chapel. Rally Praise and Worship on
January 20 in ULL Quad from 9:30am-11:30am followed by the Pro-Life March (11:30-12:30) to the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist with a welcome by Bishop Deshotel at 12:30 and a Prayer Service and Benediction (12:30-1:30) inside the Cathedral.
