The segment lifting unit
The segment lifting unit is a subset of the Segmental Form
Traveller extremely important
because this is the unit performing the lifting and adjusting
the
segment.
In general terms this segment lifting unit is composed by
two
electrical winches, the front beam on which these winches are
installed and corresponding working platforms, eletrical
cabinets and winches steel wires.
This unit also includes two lifting winches that suspend the
segment and all the hydraulic equipment
that perform the adjusting horizontal movements
(transversally and longitudinally) and also adjust the
segment
longitudinal slope.
The transversal slope adjustment is made by the winches.
