The unit advance and retracts through a high precision CNC machined lead screw, all driven by a three phase motor. The in line mounting of the spindle and leadscrew guarantees a true pitch conversion. - Lead screw works in oil bath, assuring a long life and smooth operation. - All tapping machines have a safety switch (no-hole presence), avoiding the breakage of tools. - Vertical or angular positioning or angular positioning is possible using the universal support SU-92 or SU-110.
