On 26 November 2011, in conjunction with the “Awal

Muharram” celebration, SELIA Group supported by SEGAR

and CITY UC, organized a charity reach out program to

the “ Rumah Jagaan dan Rawatan Orang Tua Al-Ikhlas in

Kg Pulau Meranti, Puchong Selangor. There was a total of

50 senior citizens residing at this home. All the residents

placed at these homes are without family care. As part of its

CSR program, SELIA Group also hand over a contribution

of food supplies and utilities for the home. Tuan Haji Amli

Talib, GDCEO presented a mock cheque representing

SELIA contribution to Puan Lily, representative from

Rumah Al-Ikhlas.

In addition during the program, a gotong royong activity

was carried out by SEGAR volunteers to spruce up the

Old folk home. CITY UC student also conducted a health

screening program for the senior citizens.
