Evolve uses a new advance synchronised mechanism with enhanced geometry to ensure that the motion of the chair mirrors the natural pivot of the body providing seamless synchronisation throughout its range of movement.

The controls of the mechanism are intuitively shaped and each unique function control can be easily reached and operated from the seated position, graphics to guide the user as to the controls function are included.

The mechanism features a synchronised ratio of 2.6:1, with the standard option of 3° negative tilt that provides additional support for forward sitting posture. The mechanism features a multi-position back lock with braked anti-kick safety feature as standard.

One of the innovations of Evolve is that the mechanism is mounted to a die-cast Aluminium seat frame, rather than a structural plastic seat, this ensures that when the seat depth adjustment is operated (which has 60mm travel) the arms remain stationery thus ensuring their correct ergonomic relationship with the backrest and orientation to the work-surface.

The seat of Evolve is constructed using a newly developed plastic membrane that has been designed to promote correct postural positioning on the chair by providing a flexible seat structure. The open aspect of the under seat area facilitates the dissipation of heat build up within the seat that is typical in traditional construction methods thus preventing accelerated muscle fatigue and promoting healthier sitting.

Evolve est doté d’un nouveau mécanisme synchronisé complexe dont la géométrie a été améliorée afin de garantir un mouvement du siège sachant refléter le pivotement naturel du corps, offrant ainsi une synchronisation aisée dans tous ses mouvements.

Les commandes du mécanisme ont été conçues de façon intuitive et chaque commande de fonction unique peut être facilement atteinte et utilisée en position assise. Des illustrations guidant l’utilisateur au sujet du fonctionnement des commandes sont incluses.

Ce mécanisme permet un rapport synchronisé de 2,6 pour 1, avec l’option standard d’un basculement négatif de 3° qui apporte un soutien supplémentaire à une posture assise vers l’avant. Le mécanisme offre un verrouillage du dossier à positions multiples avec une sécurité utilisant un frein anti recul fourni par défaut.

Au cœur des innovations d’Evolve, on trouve cette fois ci un mecanisme fixé sur le cadre en aluminium moulé du siège. A défaut d’un siège en plastique structurel, cela garantit que, lorsque le réglage de profondeur du siège est effectué (sur une course de 60mm), les accoudoirs restent immobiles et garantit ainsi leur placement ergonomique par rapport au dossier et leur orientation par rapport au plan de travail.

Le siège d’Evolve est fabriqué à l’aide d’une membrane en plastique élaborée récemment. Elle a été conçue afin de favoriser une posture correcte sur la chaise tout en offrant une structure de siège souple. L’aspect ouvert de la zone sous le siège permet à l’accumulation de chaleur du siège de se dissiper; cela est caractéristique des méthodes de fabrication traditionnelles empêchant ainsi la fatigue musculaire et favorise une position assise meilleure pour la santé.

Das Synchronisationsverhältnis beträgt 2,6:1, und der negative Neigungswinkel von standardmäßig 3° stützt den Rücken bei einer vorwärts geneigten Sitzhaltung zusätzlich. Auch eine Multipositionssicherung der Rückenlehne und die gebremste, trittgeschützte Sicherheitsvorrichtung zählen zum Standard-Lieferumfang dieser Modellreihe.

Ganz neu bei Evolve ist die Montage der Mechanik auf einem Aluminiumspritzguss-Sitzrahmen (statt auf einem Kunststoffsitz). Dadurch ist gewährleistet, daß der Arm bei der Einstellung der Sitztiefe (bei der 60 mm Spiel besteht) in der gewünschten Position bleibt und dadurch für die korrekte, ergonomische Position im Verhältnis zur Rückenlehne und der Ausrichtung zur Arbeitsfläche sorgt.

Die Evolve-Sitzfläche ist aus einer neu entwickelten Kunststoffmembran konstruiert, die durch eine flexible Sitzstruktur eine korrekte und für die Körperhaltung optimale Sitzeinstellung gewährleistet. Unter der Sitzfläche ist der Stuhl offen und ermöglicht so die gleichmäßige Verteilung der Wärme, die sich bei herkömmlichen Stuhlkonstruktionen im Sitz anstaut. Auf diese Weise verhindert der Sitz eine Ermüdung der Muskeln und verhilft zu einem gesünderen Sitzerlebnis.

1.1.Adjust the arm for height with the trigger under the arm pad, on MF versions the position of the arm pad can be adjusted for width and depth via a button on the inner side of the arm pad.

The backrest of Evolve utilises a plastic membrane designed to provide structural and postural support when sitting, the back height of Evolve is generous to provide support throughout the lower and upper spinal area and comfort is further enhanced by the inclusion of optional adjustable lumbar support that can be easily adjusted from the seated position.

The back frame of Evolve has been designed to flex and pivot to provide additional comfort and support throughout the range of movement of the back.
