Medical tourists are advised to obtain either the C3 (M) or G1 (M) visas from the Embassy or Consulate General of the Republic of Korea. You can obtain more information from a medical tourism information center, medical tourism agency, or medical coordinator.

C3 (M): Sojourn period of fewer than 90 days (for relatively simple procedures such as cosmetic surgery and aesthetic treatment) G1(M) Sojourn period of 1 year (long-term care and rehabilitation therapy, etc.)

Visa Types

You can submit your application form to the Embassy or Consulate General of the Republic of Korea. You can register as a foreign patient at the Korea Health Industry Development Institute and request a visa application agency authorized by the Korea Ministry of Justice to apply for a visa on your behalf.
