Lions-simba

*Male lions are much larger than lion females and will fight to control lion prides.

*Lions are the kings of the jungle.

 

Leopards-chui

*Leopard are heavier and more strongly than cheetahs.

*They are stealthy hunters.

Rhinos-kifaro

• *Have little ear hair.

• *Black rhinos were once numerous

Buffalo-nyati

*Can live to 18 years old.

*Buffalo are herding animals and can be found in group of 1000 or more in certain areas.

Elephants-tembo

• *Elephants is the largest land animal .

• *They weight as much as five cars.

excursion under "the high noble arc of the cloudless African sky," Serengeti has come to symbolize paradise to many of us. The Maasai, who had grazed their cattle on the vast grassy plains for millennia had always thought so. To them it was Siringitu - "the place where the land moves on

forever".
