Hebrews12:28saysthat“Sincewearereceivingakingdomthatcannotbeshaken,letusshowgratitude,”orliterally,“letushavegrace.”Inhismessage,Christianexplainedhowtheword“grace”isfundamentallyarelationalconcept.It’snotjustaboutthekindnessandgoodnessthat

Godshowsus,butthewayhiskindnesswelcomesusintoanongoingrelationshipwithHim.

Therefore,to“havegrace”towardGodmeanstoreciprocatethisrelationshipthroughgratitude,loyaltyandservice.

1. Theideaofgratitudeisn’tjustaprivatefeelingofthankfulnesstoGod,butpubliclydeclaringthegoodnesshehasshownus,asawayofenhancinghisreputationandbringinghimglory:

“thefruitoflipsthatconfesshisname”(13:15;seealso1Peter2:9).SpendsometimedeclaringtooneanotherthegoodnessGodhasshownyou.

2. Publicgratitudeisn’tjustaboutwhenwearewithbelievers,butalsowhenwearewithunbelievers.EvangelismismoreaboutdeclaringthegraceGodhasshownusthantryingto
