After years of an “American” childhood, attending the finest schools, Rabbi Roy and Leah felt there must be more to life. Rabbi Roy’s book, From Central Park to Sinai: How I Found My Jewish Soul, recounts their spiritual journey. Besides speaking, Leah instructs kallahs (prospective brides) and works on shidduchim (setting up dates for singles).

    Aishes Chayil Program - Begins Sunday, Jan. 18th! Meets Sunday nights, January - May / 8:00-9:00 pm Calling all pre-Bas Mitzvah girls turning 12 between 12/31/14 - 12/31/15! Join Mrs. Randee Goldberger for a 10-part series, covering a different Mitzvah each week learning how it pertains to a new Bas Mitzvah age girl. The goal of this class is to help the Bas Mitzvah develop a confident Torah perspective of her role, both personally and communally as a Jewish woman. There will be hands-on projects, discussion groups, a kosher scavenger hunt and final celebratory program at Beth Jacob with a certificate and gift presented by Rabbi Ilan D. Feldman.
