Sally Barlow is a freelance designer and proprietor of Makaio Design. Sally resides in Colorado Springs, CO with her husband Michael and four children Isaac, Avery, Colton, and Caleb.

At the core of the artist lies both heart and vision that when combined, creates work that can glorify, enlighten, entertain, enrich or simply evoke. With a degree in Visual Communications and lifelong passion for art, the desire to stay at home with her children inspired Sally Barlow to establish her business Makaio Design over twelve years ago when her first child was born.

She combines her skills in graphic design, photography, illustration, and painting to create one-of-a-kind pieces that showcase her passion. Harnessing life’s journey and its inherent surprises as inspiration, Sally seeks to capture the unexpected . . . creating unique works in hopes of impacting, encouraging, and blessing others.
