Greetings Everyone, Id like to cordially invite you to attend our Shenandoahs Shining Stars sale, Saturday,
November 19, 2011 beginning at 1:00 pm. This is our third production sale and the best
set of top quality Simmental genetics yet to be offered. This time weve added a new twist. Our customers have asked to view cattle as they are
being sold. So in response, a video of each animal will be shown as it is sold. As always,
customers asked and we listened! These cattle are the result of 35 years of breeding practical, performance-oriented,
profitable cattle with predictable genetics. Stacking multi-generations of genetics from
breed greats has worked exceptionally well for us, so these cattle should work equally well for
you. Whether youre a purebred breeder, commercial cow-calf operator, or want to win in the
show ring, theres something here for you. The bulls are raised on a forage-based diet and are summered in the hilliest, rockiest fescue
pastures so they should travel with ease. Theyll work well in purebred or Angus-based herds to
increase weaning weights and produce those F1 SimAngus females so popular today. The females are flashy, moderate-frame, easy-fleshing and wide-hipped with tremendous
capacity and performance. Many are donor quality, some should perform exceptionally well
in the club calf world, and all should make exceptional brood cows. And by request, some have
F1 Angus-cross calves at side. These cattle should be outstanding individuals. These Keepin
Kind females are extremely hard to part with. The embryos are from our best donors whove proven themselves top performers time and
time again. In the show ring or the pasture, progeny from these matings should be winners.
Semen from Keep Dreamin, a full sibling to Lady Bug, will be available for private sale on
sale day. Bring your tank to take advantage of these genetics. In prior sales weve added many new customers to our long list of highly valued, loyal
customers, whove also become friends, and we hope to add more friends with this sale. And
we couldnt conduct this sale without the help of many talented and dedicated individuals.
Its been a pleasure working with each of the folks whove made personal sacrifices to make
this sale possible. Please visit our website www.shenandoahvalleysimmentals.com to view the on-line catalog
and videos and to take a farm tour without leaving your home.Come and view the cattle, have a good time, and enjoy the southern hospitality. If you have
questions or need assistance please contact us. Hope to see you at the farm! Shenandoah Valley SimmentalsLisa Zirkle
