Message from the President
Dear Shomrei family,
I want to take this opportunity to thank the numerous people who helped during the Yomim Noraim season. Baruch Hashem, because of the tireless efforts of so many volunteers, the Yomim Noraim season was inspirational, ran smoothly, and strengthened our Shomrei family’s bonds.
I would be remiss if I didn’t also thank all of you who responded so generously and enthusiastically to the auctions, the Yom Kippur appeal, to purchasing Chosson Torah for the Rov, and to our Ner L’Maor campaign. To all who have already participated, it is my prayer that all of the Brachos we wish every week upon those who contribute to the Tzibur, whether financially or with invaluable time, be speedily fulfilled. And to those who have not yet participated, the opportunity remains! Please let me or the office know that you would like to participate, and we will be happy to include you.
To that end, I would like to reiterate the importance of satisfying pledges in a timely manner. The Shul relies on pledges to help pay for operating expenses, and the sooner that pledges are paid, the easier it is for the Shul to satisfy its obligations. Updated statements were recently sent out, and pledges can be quickly and efficiently paid, via credit or debit card, at once or in installments, online. Please take a few minutes to review your account and make a payment or set up an installment plan at https://www.shomreiemunah.org/payment.php.
Finally, it is my honor and privilege to welcome Rabbi Moshe Meiselman, Shlita, the Rosh HaYeshiva of Yeshivas Toras Moshe, who will be giving a shiur during the break at the 8:15 Minyan this week. All are invited and encouraged to attend what promises to be an interesting and intellectually stimulating shiur given by one of the premier Roshei Yeshiva of our day.

On November 23, Motzei Shabbos, Parshas Chayei Sara, the Northwest Citizens Patrol will be having its annual Anniversary Reception, at Bnai Jacob Shaarei Zion at 8:00 pm. This is a very important event for the community, especially since many local, city and state officials will be attending including many members of the police command staff.
