Competitors with an Authority to Act must produce it. No member shall allow a stallion for which he/she is responsible as owner, lessee, authorised agent or rider to compete or be prepared to compete, in any show jumping competition without taking adequate precautions to ensure other members of the public are not put at risk of injury in accordance with RULE 82.21. Competitors must be ready to enter the ring when called; if necessary the judges will impose Rule 232 and the class will be closed. Allocated Stallion parking is available if requested upon entry. Please declare on arrival with the Show Jumping Secretary in the Collecting Ring British Showjumping rules will be applied to cancelled show jumping entries. The onus is on every rider who suffers a fall or any person who suffers an injury whilst on the Showground to report the fall/injury to the Show Secretary. DRAWN ORDER. For registered horses. To be ridden by Adult, Associate or Pony

Associate members. To be judged under British Showjumping Rules. First 6 fences 1.25M,

second 6 fences 1.30M. Faults to be accumulated over both phases only the second phase against the clock. Speed 350mpm. Single Phase. Rule 287.

Class 201 MARTIN GRANT HOMES HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW GRADE C CHAMPIONSHIP Entry Fee: £40 Prize Money: 1st, £300; 2nd, £220; 3rd, £150; 4th, £100; 5th, £80; 6th, £50 DRAWN ORDER. Class will not commence before 11am. Drawn Order at time of

declaration. Please declare one hour before this class. For registered horses in Grade C as at

1st April 2012. To be judged in accordance with British Showjumping Rule 305. Table A7. Speed 350 mpm. QUALIFIER FOR THE HORSE OF THE YEAR SHOW GRADE C

Class 203 MARTIN GRANT HOMES AREA TRIAL Entry Fee: £64

Prize Money: 1st, £1200; 2nd, £850; 3rd, £650; 4th, £400; 5th, £300; 6th, £200; 7th, £64

DRAWN ORDER. Class will not commence before 3:30pm. All competitors must declare

by 2:30pm. The Draw will be given 30 minutes before the class starts. To be judged in

accordance with British Showjumping Rule 292. For registered horses Grades A & B. Table A9. Speed 400mpm.

TABLE A9 - Two Round Competition. The best 5 scores, or, all clear rounds, will go

forward to the second round, which will be against the clock. In the event of equality, faults and time will decide i.e the faster four faulters will qualify. All scores in the first round will

start in the reverse order of merit or the slowest four faulter will go first, the faster clear last.

If necessary, those who do not reach the second round, faults and time in the first round will determine their placings, however he/she will be places after those who compete in the

second round. If a competitor withdraws from the second round he/she will not be replaced

and he/she will receive the placing from the first round. At least five prizes have to be awarded.

‘You can’t beat riding in a good grass arena, its years since our

yard has been to Herts County Show. We went this year but only

after the course designer Peter Gillespie told me that the

organisers had worked hard on the ground. Peter was right. Not

only the main Lafarge show jumping ring but the collecting ring

had been well watered and underlain with sand. It was the sort of

ground you could jump anything on. Herts County proved the

All Amateur Championship Classes and Riders who have ever competed as team member of any Senior

International Team, (Nations Cup, European Championships and Olympic Games) are not eligible. Pony Riders, Children, Juniors and Young Riders who have ever competed in Nations Cup / International Team

Events and European Championships in the last five years are not eligible. (Excluding Veteran Teams).

Class 204 LAFARGE BRONZE 90CM NATIONAL AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIP QUALIFIER - FIRST ROUND
