way of walk-in-interview on contract basis for a period of one year for the SHRI ATAL BIHARI VAJPAYEE

Govt. Medical College, at Village Chhainsa, Tehsil Ballabgarh, Faridabad. The eligible candidates fulfilling

the required qualifications and experience given in the advertisement may appear before the Selection

committee (at Swarn Jayanti Hall, Pt.B.D. Sharma. University of Health Science, Rohtak) on the date

and time mentioned in schedule at Annexure-‘A’ along with (i) all relevant original documents. (ii) Two

sets of application form (to be downloaded from the website www.dmerharyana.org in favor of respects

In case of DNB candidate equated to MD/MS in terms of clause 4A of Schedule-I in addition to Resident/ Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor/ or 3 year teaching experience in the subject as work experience gained during DNB training, one year as Senior Resident in the concerned subject in a recognized/permitted medical college.

Assistant professor-(Dental)

M.D.S/ Requisite recognized postgraduate qualification in the subject.

Three years teaching experience in the subject in a permitted /approved/recognized medical college as Resident/Registrar/ Demonstrator/ Tutor.

Assistant professor-(Non-Medical)

For Emergency Medicine

(A) Professor M.D. (General Medicine) M.S. (Gen. Surgery) M.D. (Resp. Medi.) M.D. (Anaesthesia) M.S. (Orthopedics) With 2 years training in Emergency Medicine

(i) As Associate Professor in the subject concerned for three years in the recognized Medical College.

(ii) Minimum of four research publications in indexed/national journals. Provided that these research publications are published/accepted for publication in the Journals by the National Associations/Societies of the respective specialties as the First Author. Further, provided that the requirement of 4 research publications for promotion to the post of professor should be taken on cumulative basis with minimum of 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the

Associate Professor. In terms of Gazette Notification dated 06.09.2012, the following shall be added:- "The requisite experience for equating a Consultant or Specialist (after possessing postgraduate Medical degree in the subject) working in the concerned specialty in the minimum 300 bedded ESI Hospital as professor shall be more than 18 years with Four Research publication in indexed journal as 1st Author or corresponding author. Such Consultant or Specialist after joining a medical college shall be called as "Designate Professor" and on completion of three years experience in the capacity or Designate professor, such person shall be designated as "Professor"."

(B)Associate Professor

M.D. (General Medicine) M.S. (Gen. Surgery) M.D. (Resp. Medi.) M.D. (Anaesthesia) M.S. (Orthopedics) With 2 years training in Emergency Medicine

(i) As Assistant Professor in the concerned subject for four years in the recognized medical College.

(ii) Minimum of two research publications in indexed/national journals. Provided that these research publications are published/accepted for publication in the Journals by the National Associations/ Societies of the respective specialties as the First Author. Further, provided that the requirement of 2 research publications for promotion to the post of Associate Professor should be fulfilled with 2 research publications must be published during the tenure of the Assistant Professor. In terms of Gazette Notification dated 06.09.2012, the following shall be added:- "The requisite experience for equating a Consultant or Specialist (after possessing post graduate medical degree in the subject working in the concerned specialty in the minimum 300 bedded ESI Hospital as Associate Professor shall be more than 10 years with Two Research Publication in indexed journal as

Ist Author or corresponding author.

Such Consultant or Specialist after joining a medical college shall be designated as "Associate Professor". In terms of Gazette Notification dated 01.10.2012, the following shall be substituted:- "If a DNB qualified candidate (broad/Super specialty) having fulfilled the requirements as per clause 4 (iii) mentioned below for appointment as Assistant Professor or is already working in a MCI recognized medical college/central institute, he/she would be further promoted as per Minimum qualification for teachers in Medical Institutions Regulations, 1998 as amended."

(C)Assistant Professor

M.D. (General Medicine) M.S. (Gen. Surgery) M.D. (Anaesthesia) M.S. (Orthopaedics) With 2 years training in Emergency Medicine

(i) Requisite recognized postgraduate qualification in the subject.

(ii) Three years teaching experience in the subject in a recognized medical college as resident/Registrar Demonstrator/Tutor.

(iii) In terms of Gazette Notification dated 01.10.2012, the following shall be substituted:-

(i) For the candidates possessing MD/MS/degree from MCI recognized medical college. Three years teaching experience in the subject as Resident/Registrar/Demonstrator /Tutor in a recognized medical college either during the Post-graduation course or after obtaining post graduate degree in the subject.

(ii) Equivalence of qualification of DNB (Broad specialties) with MD/MS & DNB (Super-specialties) with DM/M.Ch.

(a) Those candidates who have undergone DNB training in an institution which now run MCI recognized postgraduate degree courses in a given subject, their DNB qualifications shall be considered at par with MCI recognized qualifications that subject only.

(b) Those candidates who have undergone DNB training in a multi specialty teaching hospital with at least 500 beds, involved in various

postgraduate/super specialty teaching programmers provided that the one out of three DNB supervisors (teachers) qualify as postgraduate teacher as per MCI norms in their previous appointment; and one out of remaining two should qualify as postgraduate teacher as per MCI regulations with the following bed requirement for teaching unit:

(c) Postgraduate broad specialties 30 beds per unit (50% beds should be postgraduate super specialties 20 beds per unit) teaching beds. Such qualifications shall be considered at par with MCI recognized qualification.

(iii) Additional training of one year for equivalence of qualification of DNB (broad Specialties) with MD/MS & DNB (Super-Specialties) with DM/M.Ch. Those candidates who have undergone DNB training (both broad specialties and super-specialties) in hospital/institution other than mentioned in (ii) above, shall undergo one additional year of senior residency or equivalent training or research job in a MCI recognized hospital/ institution. Provided such qualifications are notified in the Post graduate Medical Education Regulations 2000". In terms of Gazette Notification dated 06.09.2012. The following shall be added:- The requisite experience for equating a Consultant or Specialist (after possessing postgraduate medical degree in the subject) working in the concerned specialty in the minimum 300 bedded ESI Hospitals as Assistant Professor shall be minimum 6 years. Such Consultant or Specialist after joining a medical college shall be designated as "Assistant Professor."

(D)Senior Resident

PG Degree/Diploma (MD/MS/ DNB/Diploma) in the concerned specialty from any Institute/University recognized/approved/permitted by the NMC.

(E)Junior Resident

i. MBBS from any institution/ University recognized by the NMC. ii. Must be registered under the State/NMC Registration Act.

NOTE: The academic qualification as shown above will be the academic qualification required for teaching faculty post for a period of 10 years w.e.f. date of notification. It is reiterated that only the academic qualification of MD (Emergency Medicine) will be the required academic qualification for appointment to the post of teaching faculty after the expiry of the period of 10 years from the date of notification.

Note: - For DNB/Dip candidates, qualification, experience and equivalence will be as per latest

MCI/BOG guidelines/ rules clause 4A of schedule-1- Determination of equivalence of the qualification

of DNB (Broad Specialties) with MD/MS & DNB Super Specialties with DM/M.Ch.

a. Those Candidates who have undergone DNB training in an institution which now runs

MCI recognized postgraduate degree courses in a given subject, their DNB qualification

shall be considered at par with MCI recognized qualification in the subject only.

b. Those candidates who have undergone DNB training in a multi specialty teaching

hospital with at least 500 beds, involved in various postgraduate/super-specialty

Resident/Registrar/Demonstrator/Tutor/or work experience gained during DNB training

in both Broad Specialties and Super-Specialties course in other locations/ Institution

d. 100 or more bedded hospitals) shall work for one additional year as senior resident in a

MCI recognized/permitted institute for equivalence with MD/MS/DM/M.Ch.

e. Those candidates who have three years teaching experience in the subject as

Resident/Register/Demonstration /Tutor/ or work experience gained during DNB

training or after possessing DNB qualification, in both Broad Specialties and Super-

Specialties course from an institution not covered in sub-clauses (a) to (c) shall work for

two additional year as Sr. Resident/Research Associate (CSIR) in a MCI recognized/

permitted medical college/institution for equivalence with MD/MS/DM/M.Ch.

Age :-

1. Professor-Less than 69 years.

2. Associate Professor/Assistant Professor-Less than50 Years.

3. Junior Resident- Less than 40 years& Senior Resident & Tutor/Demonstrator Less than

45 years

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS:-

1. The engagement for the posts will be made on contract basis for a period of one year.

2. The candidate who is in service will have to produce No Objection Certificate from

his/her Head of Institution/employer at the time of interview otherwise he/she will not

be allowed to appear for interview.

3. Submission of incomplete application i.e. without self attested copies of testimonials of

academic career, experience certificate, attempt certificate etc. may render the

candidate ineligible. All original documents will be produced before the scrutiny

committee at the time to scrutiny/ interview and all other relevant documents which

claim you eligibility.

4. The candidates who wish to apply for more than one specialty; they should submit

separate application form for each specialty.

5. Number of posts is liable to increase or decrease either way, including complete

withdrawal.

6. The selection committee reserves the right to reject or accept any candidate without

assigning any reason thereof.

7. Canvassing of any kind will be a disqualification.

8. The benefit of reservation, including the benefit of relaxation in upper age limit in

respect of candidates belonging to reserved category, will be as per Haryana Govt.

instruction issued from time to time and is restricted to Haryana domiciles only.

9. In case any applicant belonging to Scheduled Caste applies against General Category

post, he/she must fulfill the conditions of eligibility regarding age/application fee, etc. as

are meant for general category candidates.

10. Persons with benchmark disability will be exempted for application fee subject to

submission of necessary certificate issued by competent authority in support of their

claim of disability as per notification No.22/10/2013-1GSIII dated 25-04-2018 .

11. A passport-size photograph, duly attested should be affixed on the application form.

12. All disputes will be subject to jurisdiction of Faridabad.

13. The prescribed qualification experience and age limit etc. shall be reckoned as on date

of walk-in-interview.

14. Original documents along with one set of self attested photocopies to be produced at

the time of interview:-

a. 10th Class Certificate for proof of Date of Birth.

b. Certificate for proof of reservation category, if applicable.

c. MBBS/BDS, MD/MS/DNB/MDS, Post Doctoral Degrees.

d. Attempt certificate during various degree programs.

e. MCI or State Medical registration certificate for MBBS and subsequent

Qualifications as applicable.

f. Certificate of additional qualification where applicable.

g. Experience Certificate.

h. Photocopies of the research publications along with copy of proof of indexing status

of the journal in which the research article is published.

i. Certificate of presentation of the research article at a conference.

j. Sports certificate for prize or position in an international/national/inter university

sports or athletic meet.
