Drying Rate!•  Shrink-­‐Sleeves  are  applied  to  boEles  and  jars  in  a  wet  state,  

normally  by  hand.  For  most  applica7ons  the  Shrink-­‐Sleeves  are  allowed  to  dry  naturally.  The  drying  7me  depends  upon  air  temperature,  container  temperature  and  shape,  and  rela7ve  humidity.  

•  Shrinking  usually  starts  within  10-­‐15  minutes  of  applica7on  and  within  one  hour  most  sleeves  will  shrink  to  their  final  dimensions  on  a  container,  even  though  their  moisture  content  is  s7ll  higher  than  the  surrounding  atmosphere.  

•  Some  boElers  accelerate  the  drying  7me  by  using  hot  air  blowers  and  the  most  efficient  will  shrink  the  sleeves  within  minutes.  

•  Shrink-­‐Sleeves  are  supplied  in  a  wet  state.  Preserva7ve  is  harmless  to  jh

Storage and handling!•  DO  NOT  ALLOW  BANDS  TO  FREEZE  this  will  weaken  the  

Shrink-­‐Sleeves.  Store  wet  within  0  –  35˚C  

•  Rotate  shrink-­‐sleeve  container  regular.  This  will  prevent  the  upper  layers  drying  and  prevents  separa7on  of  the  preserva7ves.  Once  opened  the  bands  must  be  handled  carefully  to  prevent  contamina7on  with  bacteria  or  fungus  if  they  are  not  to  be  used  immediately.  

•  Always  keep  Shrink-­‐Sleeves  covered  in  the  supplied  solu7on.  

•  Always    reseal  the  lid  of  the  container  and  make  sure  the  lid  is  always  7ghtly  shut.  

•  DO  NOT  STORE  IN  WATER.  This  removes  the  plas7ciser  and  the  bands  will  split  aWer  applica7on.

How  to  apply  our  Shrink-­‐Sleeves  

Once your product has been lovingly prepared.

The fun begins.!

Choose just one sleeve at a time.!

Applied by hand, when wet. Sleeves slide over the cap and slightly over the neck. Gently does it. !

Try not to pull as this may cause the sleeve to tear.!

Sleeves should sit approximately 3-5mm

above the top of the cap !For best results.!
