Wrong interpretation of Muslim rule in India

Page 45: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

It is told that the Muslim rulers in India were not

a foreigners

Page 46: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

It is recommended that "Muslim rulers cannot be identified as foreigners except for those who did not settle here.”

Mahmud Ghaznavi and Muhammad Ghuri are to be treated as foreign invaders simply because they launched there invasions from Afghanistan.

But not the Mamluks, the Khiljis, the Tughlaqs, the Lodis, the Suras, & the Mughals who brought the loot to Delhi from other parts o the country.

Page 47: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india
Page 48: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

One has only to settle down in India in order to become Indian native even if the settler continues to despise everything Indian and admire every thing Arabic and Persian and Turkish, even if the settler continues to capture, sell & massacare of many Indians.

Page 49: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

The Muslim rulers of India cannot be regarded as

native rulers simply because they settled down here.

Page 50: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

We are told that both Hindu and Muslim

rulers were similarly and simultaneously struggling for self-aggrandizement.

Page 51: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

The fact that Hindu princes sometimes joined hands with

Muslim princes to resist a new Muslim marauder from abroad, does not convert the Muslim pinces into patriots.

Page 52: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

After the downfall of Mughal Empire, The Rajputs, the Jats, the Sikhs and the Marathas were rising up to reclaim their lost patrimony in their own homeland.

The Muslim chieftains were inviting other Islamic imperialists from across the border to come and rescue the earlier Islamic imperialist out of the chaos.

The British, the French and other foreign were taking advantage of the ineptitude of the native & Muslim princes in order to secure their strangleholds.

The Proper Perspective

Page 53: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

The Hindu princes were fighting for their hearths and homes and national honour.

On the other hand, Muslim princes were only

trying to retain the imperialist power and privilege acquired by them on earlier occasions.

"…he (Muhammad bin Qasim) put 6,000 fighting men, who were in fort, to the sword …the other dependants were taken prisoners with their wives & children…among whom 30 were the daughters of the chiefs, & one of them was Rai Dahir’s sister’s daughter… Jaisiya. They were sent to Hajjaj.”Chachnama

Page 59: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

"…when the head of Dahir, the women & the property all reached Hajjaj, he prostrated himself before Allah, offered thanks-giving and praises…Hajjaj then forwarded the head, the umbrellas, & wealth, & prisoners to Walid the Khalifa.”Chachnama

Page 60: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

"when the Khalifa… had read the letter, he prised Allah the great. He sold some of those daughters of the chiefs, & some he granted as rewards.”Chachnama

Page 61: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

"O my cousin! I received your life-inspiring letter… I learnt that the ways & rules you follow are confirmable to the Law (of Islam), except that you give protection to all, great & small, & make no distinction between enemy & friend. Allah says- give no quarter to infidels but cut their throats."Chachnama, Hajjaj’s letter to Muhammad Bin Qasim

Difference between Hindu & Islamic code of war

Page 65: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

Hindu princes fought many wars but they had observed some time- honored conventions sanctioned by the Shastras. They never molested Brahmins & BhikshusThe cows were not killedThe chastity of women was never violated. The non-combatant were never killed or

captured. The civil population was never plundered.

Hindu code of War

Page 66: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

Sacrifice of honor for victory or material gain was deemed as worse than death.

Page 67: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

Islamic imperialism came with different code- the Sunnah of Prophet. The cows, the Brahmins, the Bhikshus invited

their special attention in mass murders of non-combats.

After the victory, it required them to sack & burn down villages & town & the cities were plundered.

The temples & monasteries were destructed. Those whom they did not kill, they captured &

sold as slaves.

Islamic code of war

Page 68: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

They did all this as mujahids (holly warriors) & ghazis (kafir-killers) in the service of Allah & his last prophet.

Page 69: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

Islamic invaders wee not the first foreigners to come and settle down in India.

In earlier times, the Iranians, the Greeks, the Parthians, the Scythians, the Kushans, and the Huns had also invaded India, and settled down here.

But we have never had an Iranians, or a Greek, or a Parthian, or a Scythian, or a Kushan, or a Hun or a Mongolian minority, or culture, or problem.

Page 70: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

It is not necessary for different racial groups to get assimilated, or for different cultures to get synthesised before they can live in peaceful co-existence.

It is only when a culture is exclusive, intolerant, and aggressive that peaceful coexistence runs into deep waters.

The Determinants of Hindu Defeats

Page 74: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

None of the Hindu Saints questioned its claim as an alternative path of salvation.

None of them could see that the Kalimah- there is no god but Allah & Muhammad is his last prophet- could emanate only from a beastly rather than a religious consciousness.

A majority of the Muslims were Hindu converts who had been forced into the folds of Islam. Hindu society closed its doors to them.

Spiritual Faluire

Page 75: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

Hindus failed to organize a collective effort to guard the frontiers of Bharatvarsha.

The sterile statecraft was centered on the politics of the mandalayoni, one’s neighbor was always an enemy, & the enemy of enemy always a friend.

Cutural faliure

Page 76: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

Each of Hindu prince was busy with his immediate neighbors. An awareness of what was happening in neighboring lands was not needed by them.

Islam provided an ample opportunity to Hindu saints, philosophers & princes to understand the true character of Islam.

But neither Hindu saints, nor the philosophers, nor the princes could not draw any worthwhile conclusions about the character of Islam.

Mental failure

Page 77: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

Hidus have learnt no lesson from history as evident from their slogan of Sarva-dharma-sambhava.And the Hindu-seclularists are perverting the historical record in order to prove that Islam never intended any harm to Hindus & hinduism.

Page 78: Sita ram goel the story of islamic imperialism in india

Can a society which stands in daily need of certificates of good conduct from its sworn enemies

make any contribution to the greater good of mankind?

Let every Hindu search his heart, and seek the answer.
