Desirable Images: Is your modeling name your actual real name?Halie G. :Yes I use my real name in modeling. I feel you should own who you are in all aspects of your life.

D. I. : What city do you live in?H. G. : I live in Denver, Colorado.

D. I. : Best and worst thing about living in your city?H. G. : Denver is a great central location with lots of culture and diversity. I love all the different things you can experience without having to travel very far. Although I love Denver, the hustle and bustle, noise and traffi c can get tiresome. I’d really love to live on a little ranch in the mountains.

D. I. : How long have you been modeling?H. G. : I’ve been modeling for around 5 years. I have on and off months depending on what life brings.

D. I. : What do you look for in a photographer?H. G. : The most important thing when working with a photographer is personality. If the photographer can make the model feel comfortable and is professional, the model is much more likely to work with that photographer again. Skill and creativity are also very important.

D. I. : How do you feel about nude photography?H. G. : There are different ways that nudity can be viewed. Personally, I see the human body as a beautiful work of art that should be treated as such. This means that when working on a nude project, all parties involved should be treated with respect, dignity and should have an understanding of the same artistic vision.

D. I. : Would you say bodypaint art is the same as nude photography? Why or Why not?H. G. : When it comes to the team collaboration of body painting, nudity is involved and therefore should be treated with respect. The outcome of the photos to the public is usually treated differently because the viewer usually sees the art of the painting.

D. I. : Would you ever or have you ever posed nude for a photo project? Why or why not?H. G. : Yes I have posed nude before for various nude projects. In doing this, I have to know upfront what the project is about, what the photographer’s vision is and the pur-pose behind the project. I’ve always brought an escort to all of these shoots as well. It’s nice to have an extra pair of hands as well if I need to be touched or adjusted during the shoot.

D. I. : Were you comfortable?H. G. : I’ve never been uncomfortable posing nude in any of the projects I’ve been a part of. The projects have always been professional and maintained classy, respectful artistry.

D. I. : Have you ever been bodypainted before? H. G. : I’ve been in a few body painting projects including black light, Egyptain, Super Heros, workshops and so on.

D. I. : When approached with this project what were you feeling? Any crazy thoughts going through your head?H. G. : This project was exciting and creative. I was happy to be a part of it and spoke with Marlon pryer to the painting and shoot, so I was feeling prepared and motivated. It was an awesome team of professionals and artistic visionaries.

D. I. : Are you a geek? Are you a Marvel or DC fan? Who’s your favorite character?H. G. : We all have a little Geek in us in our own ways. Those are the qualities that make us unique individuals. I do like Marvel and DC so it’s hard to pick a favorite. Since this project though, I’ve really been down with Jean Gray (Phoenix) because she’s obviously a badass!

D. I. : What do you do for fun?H. G. : Besides modeling for fun, I really love the outdoors, traveling and trying new things! Taking walks, camping, fi shing, site seeing, traveling, cycling, and knitting are all things I greatly enjoy, although my favorite things are the simplest. Taking Harley rides with my husband through the beautiful and majestic Rocky Mountains or taking my children to parks to explore all the wonderful things this world has to offer are among my favorites.

D. I. : What are your life goals?H. G. : My life goals... That’s a pretty large question with lots of details, so to keep it simple... To travel, adapt to changes, and continually work on bettering myself through art, education and life experiences.

D. I. : Would you recommend Desirable Images to others?H. G. : Yes I would recommend Desirable Images to others looking for a professional and creative collaboration with great people!

Desirable Images: Is your modeling name your actual real name?Ivana B:Yes, it’s my fi rst and last name

D. I. : What city do you live in?I. B. : Boulder

D. I. : Best and worst thing about living in your city?I. B. : Best: seeing the fl atirons every day, it never gets old Worst: no beaches, I hate being landlocked

D. I. : How long have you been modeling?I. B. : About 4 months

D. I. : What do you look for in a photographer?I. B. : Most of the photographers I’ve worked with so far I don’t know personally beforehand and we either connected online or through a mutual friend so the biggest thing is how comfortable and safe they make me feel. If I feel any weird vibes via phone, text, or email I won’t shoot with that photographer. Usually my deal breaker is whether or not they’ll let me bring a friend along to shoot. Some photographers say they don’t like to have other people around during a shoot because it can be awkward or it won’t be authentic, but ultimately I’m the model and I’m meeting up with a complete stranger who is most likely going to be a man and I’ll probably be the only one naked in the situation so I’m going to bring someone to the shoot with me and if you don’t like that I won’t shoot with you.

D. I. : How do you feel about nude photography?I. B. : People tend to stigmatize nudity especially when it comes to the female body, but I fi nd nudity to be beautiful and empowering.

D. I. : Would you say bodypaint art is the same as nude photography? Why or Why not?I. B. : No because in bodypaint art the body serves as the canvas but in nude photography the body is the art.

D. I. : Would you ever or have you ever posed nude for a photo project? Why or why not?I. B. : I have posed nude before. I don’t think nudity is a big deal plus I’m only going to look like this for so long why not let some people take some beautiful photos and capture it. I really don’t think I’ll regret that when I’m a grandma

D. I. : Were you comfortable?I. B. : I was comfortable

D. I. : Have you ever been bodypainted before? I. B. : This was my fi rst time being bodypainted

D. I. : When approached with this project what were you feeling? Any crazy thoughts going through your head?I. B. : I was nervous because it was my fi rst shoot and I was worried about being in good enough shape but otherwise I was super excited

D. I. : Are you a geek? Are you a Marvel or DC fan? Who’s your favorite character?I. B. : Defi nitely a little geeky. I’m a fan of both but Marvel is my favorite becaue they have the Avengers. My favorite character would probably have to be Iron Man.

D. I. : What do you do for fun?I. B. : I love fashion so for fun I shop a lot. Funds are low right now so most of my shopping consists of fi lling up my cart online and not buying any of it. I also love to travel and I try to leave the country at least once every year. If I’m not shopping or traveling I’m probably either work-ing out or reading a book.

D. I. : What are your life goals?I. B. : I would like to become a stylist and eventually open my own small boutique that personalizes the shopping experience. In addition to all that my ultimate life goal is to be satisfi ed with my work and love myself unconditionally.

D. I. : Would you recommend Desirable Images to others?I. B. : Defi nitely! I couldn’t have asked for a better photographer for my fi rst photo shoot.
