Besides enjoying the weather, beaches, adventure, wildlife, and and natural wonders, you will have thechance to play competitive soccer with the locals and to experience a different soccer style.

DAY 1 Saturday, 04 August 2018Relax and enjoy our scheduled flight from Atlanta to San Jose.* Please note that the final itinerary may be slightly different from this program. The finalitinerary will be determined based on the size of the group, any adjustments that are required(such as adding additional matches), and the final schedule of the matches. (If additionalmatches are required, then some sightseeing content will be replaced by the additionalmatches needed.)Our bi-lingual Tour Director will meet us at the airport and will accompany our groupexclusively throughout the tour.Our private bus and driver will meet us at the airport. We will have the use of a private busfor all sightseeing and sporting activities throughout our tour.San Jose is the capital and largest city of Costa Rica. Located in the Central Valley, SanJosé is the seat of national government, the focal point of political and economic activity, andthe major transportation hub of this Central American nation. Today it is a modern city withbustling commerce, brisk expressions of art and architecture, and spurred by the country'simproved tourism industry, it is a significant destination and stopover for foreign visitors.ESTADIO NACIONAL DE COSTA RICATake a guided tour of the National Stadium of Costa Rica (Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica)The stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in La Sabana Metropolitan Park, San José. It is thefirst modern sport and event arena to be built in Central America. The stadium wascompleted in 2011 and officially opened its doors to the public on Saturday, March 26 of thatsame year, with a capacity of 35,175 seats. The stadium serves as the home stadium of theCosta Rica national football team and it was used to host matches during the 2014 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup, including the opening game, the third place match and the Final.Our base for the first three nights will be in the San Jose area. While here breakfast anddinner will be included.TRAINING SESSIONWe will participate in a Training Session at a local field. The training session will be led byyour own coaching staff and is designed to prepare the team for upcoming friendly matches.(Training sessions may be in the morning, afternoon or evening and will be determined by thefinal hotel location, field availability, and the schedule of activities for the day.)Tonight we will have dinner in the hotel restaurant.

DAY 2 Sunday, 05 August 2018This morning you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel.Today we will travel to our match and then to our service activity.FIRST FRIENDLY MATCHWe will play a Friendly Match against a local club or academy team. The team will meet andcompete against athletes of similar ages and skill levels, and have the opportunity to makefriends for life. (The teams you will play will be selected after time of booking and will bebased on the specific skill level and requirements of your team. We have contacts at everylevel and take great pride in finding the perfect fit for each friendly match.)Today lunch will be included.

DAY 2 Sunday, 05 August 2018SERVICE ACTIVITYParticipate in a Volunteer Activity in the San Jose area. Based on needs at the time of ourtrip, we will participate in a humanitarian, environmental or community based project. This caninclude volunteering at an orphanage or home for the elderly, volunteering in a localenvironmental project, or dedicating our time and resources to a worthy project in the region.Tonight we will have dinner in the hotel restaurant.

DAY 3 Monday, 06 August 2018This morning we will have breakfast at the hotel.TRAINING SESSIONWe will participate in a Training Session at a local field. The training session will be led byyour own coaching staff and is designed to prepare the team for upcoming friendly matches.(Training sessions may be in the morning, afternoon or evening and will be determined by thefinal hotel location, field availability, and the schedule of activities for the day.)Today we will travel to Doka and Poas.THE DOKA CHALLENGEThe Ropes Challenge Park at Doka Estate is a team building activity for adventure seekersand groups alike. We will be taken through a course that spans over Doka Estates coffeeplantations and includes 14 different elements for participants. These 14 elements include acatwalk, zip-lining, rappelling, a swinging bridge and more. The challenge is designed forthose interested in improving team building and personal development skills.Lunch will be provided today.POAS VOLCANO NATIONAL PARKWe will make an early departure and travel to Poas Volcano National Park. The PoásVolcano is one of the world's largest geysers with an awesome crater, over 1.5 km. wide!The tour begins with a beautiful drive through the lush coffee plantations and flower farms ofthe area. In addition to the volcano, the Poás National Park is a 9,884-acre reserve with richtropical vegetation and animal life. The tour includes a hike through the surrounding forest thatis teeming with typical plant life and exotic birds. The hike concludes at a restful, emeraldgreen, tropical lagoon.TIQUICIA DINNERThis evening we will enjoy dinner at the Tiquicia Restaurant. Located high in the mountainoverlooking San Jose and the central valley, we will dine amongst one of the best views inCosta Rica. The meals will feature traditional Costa Rican cuisine home cooked on woodgrills. Normally the visit includes music and traditional Costa Rican dance. This is the idealspot for a final team photo!

DAY 4 Tuesday, 07 August 2018This morning we will have breakfast at the hotel.Today we will travel from San Jose to the Arenal area.SECOND FRIENDLY MATCHWe will play a Friendly Match against a local club or academy team. The team will meet andcompete against athletes of similar ages and skill levels, and have the opportunity to makefriends for life. (The teams you will play will be selected after time of booking and will bebased on the specific skill level and requirements of your team. We have contacts at everylevel and take great pride in finding the perfect fit for each friendly match.)LA PAZ WATERFALL GARDENSWe will visit La Paz Waterfall Gardens, one of the most beautiful and fascinating attractionsin Costa Rica. Our tour begins as we enter the Aviary to explore the birds of Costa Rica andeven hold a toucan! We continue into the huge Butterfly Garden that features a variety ofspecies and an excellent learning center. Next we will view the monkeys before we explorethe hummingbird and orchid gardens, where you can get up close to hummingbirds.Today lunch will be included at La Paz's magnificent restaurant just off the hummingbirdgarden. The buffet lunch features traditional cuisine in one of the most beautiful open-airsettings in Costa Rica.

DAY 4 Tuesday, 07 August 2018LA PAZ WATERFALL GARDENSOur visit at La Paz Waterfall Gardens continues as we visit the small serpentarium featuringmany of Costa Rica's snake and lizard varieties. We continue to the cats exhibit to see thebeautiful and massive Costa Rican jaguars. Our time concludes as we hike down theperfectly laid out trails to viewing points along the four La Paz Waterfalls, each viewing pointseemingly more impressive than the last.Arenal is famous for its Volcano, an unavoidable presence while traveling within this part ofthe country. It is tall and imposing and has a reputation that precedes itself. Arenal’s perfectlysymmetrical shape makes it a sightseer’s dream.Our accommodation for the final four nights will be in the Arenal area. While here breakfastand dinner will be included daily.Tonight we will have dinner in the hotel restaurant.

DAY 5 Wednesday, 08 August 2018This morning you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel.Today we will travel to our match and then the Penas Blancas River.THIRD FRIENDLY MATCHWe will play a Friendly Match against a local club or academy team. The team will meet andcompete against athletes of similar ages and skill levels, and have the opportunity to makefriends for life. (The teams you will play will be selected after time of booking and will bebased on the specific skill level and requirements of your team. We have contacts at everylevel and take great pride in finding the perfect fit for each friendly match.)Lunch will be provided today.SAFARI PENAS BLANCAS RIVER BOAT TOUREnjoy a two-hour Rafting Trip on the Peñas Blancas, a slow flowing and mellow river, that isideal for wildlife observation and a pleasant way to see portions of the country that otherwisego unnoticed. While we paddle down river, our guide will provide interesting information aboutthe flora and fauna species that surround the river, as well as help us spot wildlife whilepassing the rainforest. We may view monkeys, sloths, iguanas, frogs, turtles, caimans, andmany different kinds of tropical birds. The tour also includes fresh tropical fruit and refreshingbeverages.Tonight we will have dinner in the hotel restaurant.

DAY 6 Thursday, 09 August 2018This morning we will have breakfast at the hotel.TRAINING SESSIONWe will participate in a Training Session at a local field. The training session will be led byyour own coaching staff and is designed to prepare the team for upcoming friendly matches.(Training sessions may be in the morning, afternoon or evening and will be determined by thefinal hotel location, field availability, and the schedule of activities for the day.)Today we will travel to Arenal National Park and Lake Arenal.ARENAL NATIONAL PARK HIKEWe will enjoy a tour of Arenal National Park, which constitutes an area of more than 7,114acres and includes the viewing and parking areas closest to the volcano. The trails throughforest and over old lava flows inside the park are gorgeous and fun. The principal trail insidethe park, Sendero Coladas (Lava Flow Trail), is just under 1.25 miles long and passesthrough secondary forest and open savanna. At the end of the trail, a short natural stairwaytakes you to a broad, open lava field left in the wake of a massive 1992 eruption. Scramblingover the cooled lava is a real treat. Many spots throughout the park offer great views of thevolcano, but the closest view can be found at El Mirador (The Lookout), where you not onlycan see the volcano better, but also can hear it rumble and roar on occasion.Lunch will be provided today.LAKE ARENAL CANOEINGEnjoy a pleasant afternoon on a Canoe Tour of Lake Arenal. Our relaxing tour will providebreathtaking views of Arenal Volcano and we will have the opportunity to observe differentspecies of birds including the flycatcher, kingfisher, great blue heron and magnificent anhinga.

DAY 7 Friday, 10 August 2018This morning you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel.Today we will travel to our final match and then to Sky Tram & Trek.FOURTH FRIENDLY MATCHWe will play a Friendly Match against a local club or academy team. The team will meet andcompete against athletes of similar ages and skill levels, and have the opportunity to makefriends for life. (The teams you will play will be selected after time of booking and will bebased on the specific skill level and requirements of your team. We have contacts at everylevel and take great pride in finding the perfect fit for each friendly match.)Lunch will be provided today.SKY TRAM & TREKThe tour begins with an Aerial Tram ride – cable-cars with open carriages will whisk us up thenorthern slopes of the Cordillera de Tilaran to the lookout point at 4,250 feet. From here youwill have an amazing view of Lake Arenal and the volcano. Descend by the Tram or SkyTrek…this is a system of zip lines ranging from mountain to mountain, which together have adistance of 2.5 miles of linear cable. The tour gives you the opportunity to fly through a cableand have a unique experience of adventure and adrenaline at speeds up to 40 miles per hourwith distances ranging up to 2500 feet and heights of 524 feet. In addition the tour offers fiveobservation towers that exceed the cloud forest treetops providing a panoramic view.Tonight we will have dinner in the hotel restaurant.VOLCANIC HOT SPRINGSThis evening we will submerge into natural medicinal waters of the Volcanic Hot Springspresent at the base of the imposing Arenal Volcano and surrounded by exuberant nature. Thesprings include several pools of thermal water with varying temperatures, rich in minerals andfilled with healing properties. The purity of the water will make you feel like you are floating inan oasis of healing, with birds singing all around and the sound of falling water that invites youto relax and recover your wellness and quality of life.

DAY 8 Saturday, 11 August 2018This morning you will enjoy breakfast at the hotel.Our rewarding and enjoyable tour comes to an end as our Tour Director accompanies us tothe airport on our final day.
