FAQ'S• Can I play soccer, basketball, softball, CC, golf,

track and play volleyball?o Yes – playing more than one sport at the

freshman level is very common at DHS.

• Can I be involved in cheer or band and play volleyballo Possibly – very difficult for most students to

juggle multiple extra-curricular activities and fulfill requirements of the 4x4

• Can I be in IB classes and be a volleyball player?o Absolutely!!

• Do I have to play club volleyball in order to make the team?o Not necessarily – More playing is a definite

advantage at the high school level. All of my returning Varsity played club volleyball this spring

• Do freshman get cut during try-outs?o Rarely, but possibly.
