Greetings! We are pleased to present you with tags springandsummer 2012 catalog. Within its pages youll find much that is new at tag. In addition to the hundreds of item introductions in 2012 seasonal collections and our everyday ingredients assortments, youll discover exciting new directions in product development, design and merchandising. In product development, tag has literally covered the world to bring you and your customers unique new products that are, again, focused and highly saleable. From Denmark comes VIVA Scandinavia Glassware (pages 2-7)...a stunning transitional assortment that reflects the clean, modern styling of Scandinavian design traditions. Carafes feature patented drip-free and self-sealing technology, while glasses are crafted of double-walled, thermal shock resistant glass. And finally, each sku comes packaged in a retail-ready, 6-color box with clean, clear illustrations and messaging. Our tag product development team traveled to Jaipur, India, and the American Southwest to create two beautiful new home textiles collections. From India comes Indigo (pages 64-71), a themed collection that began with a thousand-year-old hand-printing textile craft and blossomed into a coordinated assortment in a variety of materials including textiles, ceramics, glass and coir. Santa Fe-based designer, Bianca Dresner, was commissioned to fashion a lovely line of fabrics were calling Its All About Color (pages 150-155)...stripes and solids that utilize a special weaving technology to make the brilliant Southwest color palette as rich and vibrant as the landscape on which it was based. The line includes a full assortment of table linens, plus easy-to-clean and durable polypropylene plastic place mats. These new directions are reflected in the updated format of this catalog as well. Weve focused on key categories that will help you increase turn and profit. In addition, our new seasonal collections are merchandised to highlight coordinating items that will broaden the appeal of each line. We hope you enjoy shopping tags springandsummer 2012 catalog.
