Mini Day Camp Time 9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Drop-off from 8:15 a.m. to 8:59 a.m. Pick-up from 11:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Mini Day Camp Fees One week session is $100.00/Delaware Zoological Society Members (DZS) **, $120.00/non-members. Aftercare Aftercare is available from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Camper will need to have a packed lunch if registered for Aftercare and will join other campers for a 12:00 p.m. lunch. Fee: $40/week or $20/day, available Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. only. Sensory Safari June 22 – 26 Spend the week on a sensory safari discovering the fantastic 5 senses and how both animals and people use them to explore their world! Animal Babies August 10 – 14 Whether born or hatched, no one can deny how adorable animal babies are! Learn about different animal babies, their parents, and what it takes for them to grow up in a zoo or in the wild! Color Me Wild! July 6 – 10 Animals come in all shapes, sizes, and COLORS! Learn about our many colorful creatures, each day focusing on a different color! NOTE: All campers must be completely toilet trained to attend. This means that campers must be able to use the restroom on their own, requiring no assistance. Our definition of toilet trained means that the child is able to manage his/her own clean-up and clothing by him/herself. The Brandywine Zoo’s Summer Camp program is designed to provide children the opportunity to spend the summer outside at the Zoo learning about animals, zoos, and wildlife conservation. This enriching and educational experience will be filled with Zoo visits, live animal

presentations, crafts, games, stories, learning projects, and much more! More importantly each child will learn the importance of having fun in nature and making new friends! Our camps are geared towards children who are eager to learn, follow directions, and want to have fun. Through

our Summer Camp program we are hoping to inspire the next generation of wildlife conservationists and stewards of our natural world.

D o g D a y s o f S u m m e r June 29 – July 3 The dog days of summer can be “ruff,” so beat the heat learning about cool canines at the zoo! Campers will have a tail-wagging good time as we learn about responsible pet care and explore different canine groups of the domestic and exotic kind. Daily Fee: $45/day for DZS**, $55/day for non-members Weekly Fee: $175.00/ DZS **, $200.00/non-members

J r . Z o o K e e p e r s A d v a n c e d *July 20 – 24 or August 3 – 7 Have you always wanted to be a zoo keeper? If so, get ready for a fun filled week discovering what it takes to work at the zoo through hands-on activities and projects. Campers will go behind-the-scenes, help prepare animal diets, clean an exhibit area, study animal behavior, create enrichment, and much more! Please note campers will have limited contact with select animals.Specialty Camp Rates †: $275/DZS** , $300/non-members

T a l e s o f T a i l sAugust 17 – 21 Storybook adventures ahead! Each day we will read and discuss an animal tale then immerse ourselves in the story’s theme with crafts, games, and related animal activities. Fee: $175.00/ DZS **, $200.00/non-members

†Please note: In order to provide as many campers as possible with the opportunity to attend Junior Zoo Keepers, campers registering for 2 weeks of JZK may be waitlisted for their second week. Please specify which of the two weeks is the camper’s first choice when registering.
