RECALL – ANNUAL ALUMNI MEET – 2019

Sree Vidyanikethan Educational Institutions Annual Alumni Meet - 2019 was organized on 16th February, 2019 in Dasari Auditorium, at Sree Vidyanikethan Engineering College Campus, Tirupati.

Mr. Amar Nagaram, CEO, Myntra & Jabong, and an alumnus of 1999-2003, IT

branch was the Chief Guest and Mr. B. Ravisekhar, Director (Finance & Administration),

Dr. I. Sudarsan Kumar, Director (Quality & Development) and Dr. D. V. S. Bhagavanulu,

Director (Academics) graced the occasion Annual Alumni Meet – 2019.

Mr. Amar, in his thought provoking address,

expressed his happiness to participate in this

meet, as got an opportunity to meet his

teachers, classmates & batch mates. He

explained the role of technology in business

and advised to keep updating one’s

technological knowledge to stay alive in

today’s competitive world. Memorizing his

discussions with Mr. Vishnu Manchu, CEO,

SVET, he said that, Sree Vidyanikethan Alumni are united as a family; and hence he

supports any alumni and they are free to reach him any day any time.

Mr. B. Ravisekhar, Director (Finance

& Administration) conveyed his

happiness to see the overwhelming

response from the alumni to this

meet. He invited all the alumni to

enroll themselves in the Alumni

Association which is a registered

entity now.

Dr. D. V. S. Bhagavanulu, Director (Academics), remembering his alumni meet

experiences, said that there should be

a strong bonding between the alumni

and educational institutions. He

stressed that Alumni can be part of

institutional development by offering

Guest lectures, sharing Domain

knowledge & Technological

enhancements, etc. He added that

“Recall”, the alumni association should play an important responsibility in developing

awareness in the student community about the required personality skills, analytical and

logical skills that play a vital role in procuring job opportunities.

Dr. I. Sudarsan Kumar, Director

(Quality & Development) expressed

his happiness to associate with the

alumina and expressed his best wishes

to the gathering. He motivated them to

develop continuous learning skills

which are very much a current need of

the hour. He said that Alumni are the prominent source to provide career guidance and

showcase the opportunities to their juniors. He said that, everyone should be successful

in the career and should devote some percentage of their earning for social betterment of

the society.

Dr. M. Mohan Babu, Chairman, SVET in his message conveyed that he advised alumni to

“give back to society” and he reminded their responsibility to look after their parents.

Revered CEO, SVET and Proud Alumnus of SVEC Mr. Vishnu Manchu in his message

conveyed that these types of inspirational Alumni Meets should be organized regularly

in all the Alumni Chapters and motivate the Alumni to serve the Institution and the

Nation.

A few alumni shared their nostalgic moments about their life in Sree Vidyanikethan. One

among them is Mr. B. Karthikeyan, of 2007-2011, Instrumentation Alumnus, extended

special gratitude to Dr. M. Mohan Babu, Chairman, SVET, for sponsoring his entire

Engineering Education. Other Alumni cited incidents on how the brand name “Sree

Vidyanikethan” and “Dr. M. Mohan Babu” uplifted their careers and expressed their

gratitude towards Sree Vidyanikethan, where they learnt how to face the competitive

world..

Directors & Principals; Deans; Heads of Departments; Mr. S. Sreenivasa Chakravarthi,

Alumni Relations Officer, SVET; Members of Faculty; Staff and Students enriched the

proceedings with their active participation.

More than 300 Alumni had joyfully participated in the celebrations and interacted with

the Students, the Faculty and the Institutional heads. They recalled their fulfilled student

days in the Sree Vidyanikethan Campus and reloaded their nostalgic moments.
