HOLY LAND PILGRIMAGE
Please join me on a pilgrimage to the Holy Land

CCD HELP NEEDED
It is almost “Back to School” time again, which
includes CCD. Yes, we are in need of teachers, but
also a greeter and hall monitor and others to assist
the teachers or help intermittently with special
events and programs. If you feel the Lord whisper-
ing “tend my ‘lambs’”, and you have a little time to

To celebrate the dedication and sacrifice of our first
responders of the Eel River Valley area, St. Joseph
Parish, Fortuna will have a noon mass, Thursday,
Sept. 29 at St. Joseph Church. All responders are
invited and all community members are encouraged
to show our support for those among us who run
into situations most of us run from. Lunch recep-
tion to follow at Fortuna Veterans Hall.
RITE OF CHRISTIAN INITIATION FOR
Anyone interested in learning more about the Cath-
olic Church, or who would like to join the Catholic
Church, is invited to join our RCIA class starting
September 11. Classes will continue until
the Easter Vigil when those wanting to will be re-
ceived into the Church. Please call Jerry and Bon-

as soon as the time and place have been decided.

September 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Youth Room at
