    Upcoming Events & Important Information

    FUNERALS DURING

    SHELTERING

If you have a death in

    your family during this

    sheltering period, please use

    the emergency number,

    1-877-645-2712, to contact

one of our priests. Mortuaries can help with

burials, and we can have small funerals in

church (limit of 10 people). There are a few ex-

ceptions. Our priests or deacon can assist with

burials, and we can help you plan a Memorial

    Mass at a later date.

    Dear Parish Community,

It brings great joy to be able to share that we have been able to offer a First

Communion experience to 11 children from our Parish. We are doing this in small

groups of 5 children and their parents. We still have 7 First Communion Masses on

schedule. Some of the First Communion Services, per the family’s choice, will take

place in September. I especially want to thank the families for their involvement

and flexibility. Thank you, Susan, for being a Parish volunteer. She has committed to completing

the cycle of Sacraments of 1st Communions and ‘Easter’ Adult Baptism. Thank you, Fr. Seth, for

being supportive of all these Masses. Please pray for our Parish Youth.

    DONATE TODAY!!

Summer is always a low season for any parish, and it is no surprise that it is even more so this year. This means that our income may see a dip during these upcoming months. With reduced expenses and your continued donations, we are able to sustain our parish. We encourage you to continue sending your check to the parish office (3290 Middlefield Rd., Palo Alto, CA 94306) or making your donation online:

    COVID UPDATE

SCC has increased the number for outdoors

    gatherings to 60 participants. Nevertheless,

some restrictions have been made to liturgi-

cal gatherings involving singing. The Diocese

is seeking clarification to these rules. We will

continue with our weekly services with 25

people, and Sunday Zoom masses. We look

forward to being able to start outdoors public

Masses with up to 60 people very soon.

    Dear Volunteers,

Please complete two REQUIRED trainings. It

    these trainings.

    1. Return to Church, COVID Training

The safe environment training is good for

three years. It is likely that some volunteers

may be overdue with this training. We

strongly encourage you to have this done

ASAP. We need to be ready when allowed

to return to actively meet for any ministry.
