Layers of Earth ProjectStep 1: Coloring

a. Color the cover (picture of the Earth) and write your name on it.

b. Color the crust brown to represent the Earth's land. (Do not color the center of the circle below the crust.)

c. Color the three layers of the mantle. Color the layers orange and red because it is made of hot, molten rock. (Do not color the center of the circle below the mantle.)

d. Color the outer core light gray because it is made of liquid iron and nickel. (Do not color the center of the circle below the outer core.)

e. Color the inner core black because it is made of solid iron and nickel.

Step 2: Cutting

Carefully cut out all of the pieces along the dotted lines.

Step 3: Gluing

Glue the inner core in the center of the outer core. Glue the outer core in the center of the mantle. Glue the mantle in the center of the crust.

Step 4: Staple

When your glue has dried, lay the cover page over the layers of the Earth page, and add a staple to the left-hand side.
