Our company

Established in 2012, Feritech Global Ltd is a solution provider specialising in designing and building products that are used in extreme marineenvironments. Working with our clients from across the globe we provide bespoke solutions to complex engineering problems. Our in houseteam of experts, design and manufacture solutions ensuring end to end quality delivered on time and within budget.

Feritech offer extensive manufacturing facilities including:

• Coded fabrication of assemblies

• Multi axis CNC machining

• Hydraulic systems

• Electrical electronic embedded and PC control software

• Instrumentation and automation including multiplexed data solutions for umbilical control

• Product assembly, test, maintenance, servicing and end of life recycling

We also offer a team of experienced field engineers to assist with installation and commissioning of projects.

Ports & harboursPorts and harbours have their own particularengineering requirements, and Feritech Globalcan provide solutions and support for ports,harbours, docks and marinas across the world.


Cone penetration test (CPT)Our CPT comes in various options with pushcapacities from 50kN to 200kN. Push depths ofup to and in excess of 40m. Rated at 3000mthese systems are a universal workhorse for alltypes of CPT testing requirements. We havethem available to rent or to purchase.

Products

Feritech supplies subsea exploration equipment for sale and rental.

WinchesWe specialise in advanced electric winchescapable of lifting loads and also constanttension with heave compensated systems.Lifting capacities range from 0.1t to 100t withline speeds up to 4m/s. we have winches forrental and can make any system for sale.

Launch & recovery systems

Launch and recovery systems or LARS come in many different types depending on what they are being used for. We offer a turnkey solution for supplying LARS systems and also a standard range for our corers for sale or rental.

Consumables & sparesWe stock large quantities of all theconsumables needed to use our coringequipment. We also stock a comprehensiverange of spares for all our equipment ranges.This ensures we always have the parts youneed when you need them.

Heat flowThermal conductivity measurements arebecoming more common place and with oursystems these can be measured in-situ. Thesesystems save time and deliver reliable resultsusing our digital data acquisition system. Heatflow systems are available for sale or rent.

Grabs and corersWe supply a comprehensive range of over 30types of sediment grabs and corers. Hamon,Van Veen, box and day grabs to largerequipment like gravity, piston, jumbo pistonand vibrocorers. We have all these unitsavailable to rent or buy.


FabricationWe have a knowledgeable team of codedfabricators, between them they have decadesof experience working with mild steel,stainless, duplex, aluminium and exotics, withplate thickness up to 100mm.

Manufacturing services

Feritech’s turnkey manufacturing facilities offer state of the art subcontract production.

CNC machiningWe have an broad selection of manual andCNC machines for both turned and milledcomponents. We can manufacture customisedparts in both metal and plastics.

Electrical, electronic

We design and build all our electronic controlsin house and integrate with class leadingsuppliers of specialist sensors. This offers thebest of both worlds with bespoke solutionswhen needed and off the shelf if viable.

Assembly & testWe assemble and test every product. Feritechhas an SWL pull test facility, cable spoolingand pre-tensioning equipment and pressuretest facility (600bar). Every piece of equipmentis thoroughly inspected and tested prior todispatch.

HydraulicsMany subsea systems work on hydraulics andour dedicated hydraulic experts design andinstall systems that are built with completereliability in mind. Special compensationsystems and even hydraulics that work onwater not oil are all options.

Control & automationWe have cutting edge multiplexer systems andcontrol software that allows us to control,monitor and log whatever your systems needs.Our in house PLC and electrical engineers candesign and deliver your requirements for yournext project.

We deployed a suite of Feritech geotechnical equipment for an extensive site investigation project for a North Sea WindFarm. Both Horizon and our client are keen to maximise penetration in difficult ground conditions, minimise sampledisturbance, and conduct repeatable testing at multiple locations to advance the scope of work. Real-time feedback to theoperator allows for sampling to be completed efficiently with full penetration and recovery, and for the equipment to berecovered so the vessel can be moved to the next location. This had huge time savings for the project in terms of vessel timeand provides the essential data required for accurate engineering analysis..
