Expression of InterestHead Teacher Teaching & Learning Marsden High School
Expressions of interest are invited from teachers interested in a career opportunity in the position of Head Teacher Teaching and Learning from 23.7.2018 to 17.12.2018 (with the possibility of an extension after review). The position with be located at Marsden High School, 22A Winbourne St, West Ryde 2114.
The Head Teacher Teaching and Learning will lead and manage programs and projects to maximise teacher professional learning in order to promote excellence in classroom practice.

Statement of duties
Lead and manage planning, implementation and review of projects and programs, and contribute collaboratively at executive level, to whole school focus on improved teacher professional learning
Lead School Assessment and Reporting procedures; Teacher Induction and Mentoring; and Accreditation Processes.
Lead innovative educational practices and professional learning within the context of current educational reforms and the school’s strategic directions.
Selection criteria
Teaching qualifications and recent school based experience.
Demonstrated ability to collaboratively lead teacher professional learning to build capacity of staff to implement inclusive and future focused teaching practices.
High order interpersonal and communication skills with the capacity to work collaboratively with staff and Executive Team.
Proven capacity to guide, coach, enthuse and support teachers in their ongoing professional practice to transform classrooms where students are inspired learners.
Highly developed skills in gathering and analysing data as well as using current research to design and implement whole school programs.
Two referees are required. One of the referees listed must be the applicant’s current principal (or supervisor for non-school-based staff). Expressions of interest must not exceed 3 x A4 pages and require the signature of the applicant’s current principal or supervisor.
