Simland Residences, Maltepe , İstanbul

Projects consists of two land lots, one with 180.000 m² and the other with 30.000 m² of

construction area in the province of Maltepe in Istanbul. In the larger lot there are four 25 story towers with majority of the subgrade plan area providing below ground parking for the residences. In the smaller lot there are 20 stories above ground level with two sub-grade parking levels below the high rise. MALTEPE ADA REZİDANS

Star-City Shopping Center, Yenibosna, İstanbul

The 150,000 square meter shooping center complex includes; 6 seperate blocks of reinforced concrete sub and super-structure systems. Roofs above movie theater and several long-spans and facade structural elements are designed with structural steel components.

OASIS–Dobrininsky Office Building, Moscow, RUSSIA

The A-Class office building in down-town Moscow is located above a metro station and

therefore the below grade levels are designed for top-down construction method. Total

enclosed construction area is approximately 65.000 m2 with 14 above ground levels and three

basement levels. Every panel of the facade has a unique tilt and to create this illusion; flat plate

slabs cantilevers vary at every floor levels as well as most exterior columns being tilted inwards

and outwards at certain facade panels.

Dragos Royal Towers, Dragos, İstanbul

Structural design of four 60 meter tall residential towers in the Dragos shoreline in Istanbul. The

architectural expression of the exterior of the building was made possible by tilting vertical

elements as well as transfers along the height of the structure.

Shangri La Hotel , Beşiktaş, İstanbul

The new five star hotel by Bosphorus shore in

Beşiktaş is designed to replicate the historical

Tobacco Depot it is replacing. The building above

grade is to be identical to the exterior of the old

structure. The additional six sub-grade levels are

constructed by top-down construction method as

the foundation is 28 meters below the sea level. A

1.20 meter thick perimeter diaphragm wall is

designed for intial stages of the construction. Total

construction area is approximately 45,000 square

meters.

The 30,000 square meter

Aviation Museum is designed as

one of the largest and state-of-

the-art example of its kind.

Structural system is comprised

of structural steel arched beams

spanning 120 meters as well as

reinforced concrete shear walls

/ core walls. Some of the

airplanes under exhibition are

to be hung from the roof

structure in a flight

configuration and the

suspended walkways allow

visitors to walk around between

those suspended planes.

Two basement levels include an

auditorium with 1500 seat

capacity as well as other

meeting areas and offices.
