The South East Busway, cost a total of A$350 million or A$21.875 million per km (16km) and moves around 30 million people a year in Brisbane.

The South East Busway, carries 18,000 people per hour, in the morning at its busiest peak.

There has been a 180% increase in patronage on major bus routes since opening the South East Busway.

More than 70% of network passengers use some part of a Busway in their journey.

Total network patronage has increased by 50% in the last 5 years.

However, not the busiest part of the busway!

At that location (Woolloongabba Junction) there is a bus every 10.5 seconds.
