Prerequisite courses must be completed prior to enrollment in Stevenson University’s clinical nursing program.

• Applicants who have already earned a bachelor’s degree only complete the prerequisite courses in BOLD.

• Applicants who have earned an A.A., A.S. or A.A.T. degree from a Maryland community college have met

Stevenson’s general education requirements and are not required to take: the 200-level Writing Intensive, Fine Art

or Humanity courses.

• Applicants who have not earned an associate’s or bachelor’s degree are required to complete all prerequisites.

Anatomy and Physiology I and II with labs may be substituted for Human Anatomy and Human Physiology.

*Denotes course that must have been taken in the past 5 years.

**All students accepted to the Nursing Program must take the Computer Technology in Nursing course at Stevenson

University prior to admission to their junior-level clinical courses.
