Success Story

Total 16600 Clinical cases (General Medicinal,

Gynecological, Surgical) of large and small animals during

OPD at Vey. Unit, Uchani, Karnal for the year 2015-2016

were attended and treated successfully. The X-ray

examination and ultrasonography of diseased animals

were also performed during this period and conditions

including diaphragmatic hernia, pneumonia, traumatic

pericarditis, congenital bone disorders, fractures etc.

were identified. Routine Clinical camps and training of

internship students are also undergoing.

Success Story

Buffalo Bull –Yuvraj of Kurukshetra (1st

award in All India cattle

show, Muktsar) was also treated for tail injury in our clinics.

One buffalo of farmer Narender Singh, Didwari, Panipat was

treated for abdominal Hernia at our clinics giving best results in

milk production and its price rises upto 25.0 lakh. Before

treatment its price was just Rs. 1.0 lakh.

Buff Bull Gholu costs Rs 4 Crore was treated in TVCC Uchani

for G.I.disorder.

So farmers of Eastern Haryana are getting maximum benefits

of RKVY projects.

Ambulance along with accessories and diagnostic instruments (for

laboratory, OPD, OT) were purchased and being used for diagnosis and

treatment of various diseases at hospital as well as at field level. Thus

diagnosis of many diseases became highly specific and sensitive and helped

in saving the lives of many animals by adopting specific treatment.

Farmers are also getting benefit of Ambulatory services at their doorstep.

Clinical camp organized by our team of Regional centre, Uchani, Karnal at

adopted village, Phurlak, Dist. Karnal under and RKVY schemes on

29.6.2016. Total 640 animals (cattle, buffalo, pigs,) were clinically

examined and treated successfully. Twenty minor surgical cases were also

performed. Medicines like Agrimin forte, (Mineral mixture), best worm

(Dewormer) and Himalyan Batisa were distributed among farmers for their

livestock.

Other important activities: Clinical camp organized by our team of Regional centre, Uchani, Karnal at adopted village, Phurlak, Dist. Karnal under “Mera Gaon Mera Gourav” and RKVY schemes on 29.9.2016. Total 580 animals (cattle, buffalo, dog) were clinically examined and treated successfully. Twenty minor surgical cases were also performed. Medicines like Agrimin forte, (Mineral mixture), best worm (Dewormer), Hitek (acaricide) and Himalyan Batisa were distributed among farmers for their livestock.
