Paper 1 covers theory behind computer fundamentals (CPF), Media Elements (MEL), Document Processing (DOP), Multimedia Computing (MMC) and Media Computing (MEC). Students will be assessed on their understanding of the range and power of computer applications and the responsible use of information including knowledge behind various office productivity applications. Their skills for word processing, multimedia presentations, Inkscape drawing, spreadsheet calculations and use of scratch programming will be assessed across 2 papers. Students are advised to be familiar with the range and depth of the sub-topics in each category.
