The Coral Springs Institute for the Performing Arts (CSI) Presents:

Next Stop Broadway Summer Camp 2016 For Kids & Teens!

Next Stop Broadway, in conjunction with the Coral Springs Institute for the Performing Arts, is now accepting registration for the exciting 2016 Summer Camp sessions! Our first-rate youth theater program has its permanent home at one of South Florida’s finest performing arts center: The Coral Springs Center for the Arts.

Starting June 13, the camp will run until August 2016, when students will top off each session with a full-scale production. Campers will have the chance to enjoy the magic of Disney’s classic films and themed activities all summer long. The pro-gram is categorized by age and is taught by our CSI seasoned professionals. Students will take part in acting, dancing and singing, as well as other fun camp activities.

A 10 percent discount will be offered to parents who register their child before February 19. Parents who enroll two or more children will receive a 20 percent discount for the second child. If campers enroll for ten weeks the eleventh week is free, a near $250 discount!

Cynthia O’Brien, the program’s artistic director, says this pro-gram not only focuses on art but also encourages powerful people.

“We don’t just put on plays. We train people how to succeed,” she says. “I’ve seen so many students become aware of their own self-strength. It takes 80 percent hard work and 20 percent guts to succeed in life, no matter what job you do.”

O’Brien, a respected actress, director, playwright and producer who has performed in various national Broadway touring productions, says the CSI program emerged in the 1990s after more and more liberal arts programs were cut from the public school system. The CSI program has since been committed to helping students fulfill their niche.
