Springboard Diving: ages 7+ | 60 minute classLearn the basics of competitive diving. Students will practice approaches such as forward and back jumps in straight position, pike and tuck body positions, and forward and back dives. In this class participants must be able to pass the deep water test and do a forward dive from the side of the pool.Sat: (10 weeks) 8:30am

Advanced Springboard Diving: ages 11+ | 60 minute classThis class is for divers who have been promoted from the beginner class or high school divers who want to perfect their advanced skills. Instructor recommendation is required. Sat: (10 weeks) 9:30am

PRIVATE LESSONS (members only)

Private lessons are a great way to learn to swim or improve stroke techniques. Each lesson lasts 30 minutes. To register, fill out a request form at the Welcome Center. CERTIFICATION CLASSESLifeguard Training: ages15+M: $300 N: $425Students will be trained in the nationally recognized Red Cross Lifeguard Course including CPR, First Aid, 02 and AED. Certification is determined by successful completion of a comprehensive written exam and water test. Swimming skills are a prerequisite and attendance in all classes is mandatory. Red Cross Lifeguard Recertification: M: $100 N: $150This is a 4 hour review and testing to re-certify for American Red Cross Life Guard, CPR/FA/AED and Optional Oxygen. Students should come to the review prepared and ready to show their skills. Certification must be current. Red Cross no longer accepts expired certification. Prior to taking this re-certification, please take the online refresher course found at www.redcrossrefresher.com. This twilight run will take you through the streets of Peabody and end with a party and a SPLASH in the Torigian Family YMCA outdoor pool! All proceeds benefit the Torigian Family YMCA’s Growing Stronger Together scholarship fund which ensures no one in the community is turned away for inability to pay.

The YMCA of Metro North and the Torigian Family YMCA are excited to announce the first annual YMCA of Metro North Half Marathon, the only half marathon in Peabody. The race will start at Lt. Ross Park (Cy Tenney) and proceed north on the Independence Parkway into West Peabody, winding through local neighborhoods before ultimately finishing back at Lt. Ross Park.

Children’s Meditation:Several studies have shown that children who meditate gain many rewards. This class will show your child this simple practice which will help to increase creativity, reduce stress and support brain development. Summer Camp Sessions: 1 week sessions from June 20 - Sept 2Whether your child is a new camper who has never had a camp experience, a “Coyote” who loves to dance and draw, or a seasoned “Bruin” athlete with lots of energy to burn, our staff will ensure your child gets the most out of each day at Camp Eastman in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Camp Eastman is at the forefront of progessive day camping as we blend the new with the traditional.

With a focus on being healthy and active, bully prevention, leadership development and service learning, our campers feel safe, learn, grow, thrive, and of course have fun! Campers enjoy acres of trails and woodlands, arts and crafts, nature walks, archery, swimming in our outdoor pool, and more! There is a Camp Adventure or field trip offered each week.

Camp Eastman Rates

PARTIES & RENTALSNEW! Outoor Pool Parties:M: $300Pool parties are available by reservation on Saturday and Sunday morning. Party includes private swim from 11am–12pm and use of picnic space from 12pm–1pm. If the pool cannot be opened due to inclement weather, the outdoor pool will be replaced with a gym party. Pool Parties:M: $160 N: $240 Pool parties are available on Saturdays and Sundays by reservation. Each party room is setup with tables and chair but does not include decorations, games, or food. There is a refrigerator available for parties. A $75 deposit is required at the time of booking. Contact Megan at [email protected] for more information or to reserve a party.

Gym Parties:M: $160 N: $240 Use our gymnasium for a fun, sports-filled birthday party! Activites can include soccer, basketball, kickball, floor hockey, dodgeball, & more! After burning some energy with our party coordinator for one hour, you & your guests will enjoy an hour in the party room to celebrate. All parties are hosted on weekends. Parties are ideal for up to 20 guests, but we may be able to accommodate more, just ask us! A $75 deposit is required at the time of booking. Party Additions:You can add an inflatable bounce house for $100. Gym & Swim parties are available upon request!
