Results!!!

A few days ago we finally received our 25th response for our survey!

Therefore, we have now drawn the answers together, which are statistically valid and have made some conclusions as to what they can mean.

Age

The majority of people who have taken our survey are between the ages 31-40.

Therefore, this will produce suitable results as we have aimed our thriller at adults rather than children as we felt like the subject of children being taken away would affect parents more than young ones.

Gender

The majority of people who have taken our survey are male. However, the statistics are still pretty even.

This is good as it shows that there is variation in the people who answered our survey.

This perhaps suggests that men are more likely to watch thriller movies than women.

Scouting or guiding movements

Most of the people who have taken our survey do not know anything about scouting or guiding movements.

However, still 40% do know relative information about these movements.

This 40% of people will perhaps connect more with our thriller as they will have larger knowledge on the topic and a closer idea to the dangers that occur in our film.

Involved

Approximately a quarter of our survey takers have in fact been part of a scouting or guiding movement at one point in their lives.

This means that the film will perhaps scare them a little more as they will be aware of the dangers and maybe wonder if what happened to the girls in our thriller could in fact have happened to themselves or their children if they are part of a movement.

Children?

44% of our survey takers have claimed that children in the focus of a thriller are in fact more scary than adults being the focus.

This is probably because our survey takers who are adults, probably find this more scary as they most likely have children of their own.

Because of this, they have a stronger emotional connection with our thriller as they may wonder about the fact that these things could easily happen to their own children.

Different thrillers

The two thrillers that people have most seen are Obsessed and Evilenko.

This is very good as we based our thriller off of both of these films.

Therefore, since most people have seen these thrillers then perhaps this type of movie appeals to the public the most, therefore resulting in a lot of people watching our thriller.

How thrilling?

The two films that have been rated most thrilling by our survey takers are once again Obsessed and Evilenko.

This suggests that our film will thrill audiences as it is based off of both of these movies.

What thrills you?

This question has a variety of answers.

There seems to be a common theme of realistic situations running through the answers.

Thankfully, our thriller film contains a very real and possible situation and therefore this suggests that the thrilling factor will be a success.
