EXPERIENCE: Over 30 years experience in education in both state and private sectors. Primary and secondary phases, further/higher education, and adults.
University Associate Lecturer - Tutor for MA dissertation courses and post-graduate diploma programmes in special educational needs.
Principal of Assessment and Tuition Centre - Dyslexia Institute. Management of Educational Psychologist assessments for young children to adults. Educational assessments. Tuition through multi-sensory language programmes. Parental advice and support. Teacher training for SpLD.
LEA Specialist Teacher for Specific Learning Difficulties - Ten years experience advising schools on assessment, tuition, and staff training. Collaborated on research programmes, development of assessment procedures for pupils with literacy difficulties.
Special Educational Needs Coordinator - Developed SpLD screening procedure; examination access arrangements; staff training in SpLD and further special educational needs.
Private practice - Educational assessments for specific learning difficulties and examination access arrangements.

A comprehensive profile of the individual’s abilities and educational
attainments to help identify areas of strength and weakness.
Age range: 5 years - adult. Meets the requirements for examination
access arrangements and Disabled Student Allowance (DSA).
Fee: £300 Full report.
► Up-date to Psychological / Educational Assessment:
Students may need to up-date their previous assessment to satisfy the
requirements for examination access arrangements, Assessment of
Performance Attainment (APA), or when applying for the Disabled Student
Allowance (DSA).
Fee: £180 Short report.
► Assessment for Examination Access Arrangements: For candidates entering examinations at GCSE, GCE AS/A, AVCE, GNVQ.
