MARINE MECHANICAL ENGINEERS
Intermediate Level 2 and Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship
4 Year Training Contract
Marine Engineers install a wide variety of mechanical engineering systems such as propulsion components, engines and gearboxes. You will learn classic engineering skills and develop outstanding problem solving ability to ensure that your engine room is best in class.
Entry Requirements5 GCSEs 9 – 4, or equivalent, or a level 2 vocational qualification in a related subject.
MARINE ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS
Intermediate Level 2 and Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship
4 Year Training Contract
Marine Electricians install electrical systems, such as: lights and switches, our stunning audio and visual systems, full engine room electrical fit out, including power generation/management with AC and DC circuits and sophisticated navigation and radio systems.
Entry Requirements5 GCSEs 9 – 4, or equivalent, or a level 2 vocational qualification in a related subject.
BOAT BUILDERS – CARPENTRY
Intermediate Level 2 and Advanced Level 3 Apprenticeship
4 Year Training Contract
Carpenters fit out the galleys, cabins, flooring and all internal furniture using technical and scaled drawings to deliver the customer’s interior specifications.
Entry Requirements5 GCSEs 9 – 3 or equivalent, or a level 1 or 2 vocational qualification in a related subject.
BOAT BUILDERS – COMPOSITES
Intermediate Level 2 Apprenticeship
3 Year Training Contract
Laminators work in teams to “mould” all our composite components using glass reinforced plastic and carbon fibre. From large hulls and decks to small components both in the interior and exterior of the yachts.
Entry Requirements4 GCSEs 9 – 2, or equivalent, or a level 1 vocational qualification in a related subject.
