Q) Where do Content-Based Instruction, Teaching to Proficiency and Culture collide?
A) The newly designed AP World Language and Culture Exam.
Objectives:
Using the Scoring Guidelines of each task, I propose to offer:
activity and pacing suggestions for teaching interpersonal writing/ speaking from level 1 through AP
activity and pacing suggestions for presentational writing/speaking from level 1 through AP
how to incorporate culture at each level as well. (Examples will be given in English and German.)
Write & Discuss Planning Questions

discussion thread, etc., posters in class – museum walk) A note to parent, teacher, etc. explaining where and why, etc. Role-play letter (perspective of parent, Gov’t official, neighbor,
