Dorothy: Oh, thank you. But I want to go home! Please, help me!

Glinda: Go to the Emerald City! The Wizard of Oz will help you! Just follow the yellow brick road!

Dorothy: (to the Scarecrow) Oh hello! Who are you?

Dorothy: Oh, poor Tin Man! Come with us to the Wizard of Oz. We can ask the Wizard to help you. Maybe he can give you a heart!

Dorothy: (to the lion) Ahhhhhh!

Lion: Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!

Dorothy: Sorry! Are you scared?

Lion: Yes! I'm very scared because I'm not strong! I want to be brave!

Dorothy: Oh, poor Lion! I'm Dorothy. Come with us to the Wizard of Oz. Maybe he can help you!

( Dorothy and her friends arrive to the Wizard's house and knock on the door)

Dorothy: Hello, Mr Wizard. Can you help us? I want to go to Kansas. I want to go home.

Scarecrow: I want a brain!

Tinman: I want a heart!

Lion: And I want courage!

(The Witch of the West enters)

Wizard: Oh no! The Witch of the West!!! If you kill her I will help you!

Witch: I want your magic shoes, Dorothy!

Dorothy: My magic shoes! No! Go away! (she throws a bucket of water on the witch) Look! The witch is dead!

Dorothy: Mr Wizard, the wicked witch is dead! Now can you help me?

Wizard: No, I'm sorry! I'm just an ordinary man. I'm not a wizard!

S.T.L. : Oh, no! You're not a Wizard!

Wizard: But you don't need a wizard! Mr Scarecrow, you are intelligent!(gives him an award). Mr Tin Man, you’ve got a heart! (gives him a heart). Mr Lion, you have courage (gives him a medal with “courage” written on).

Scarecrow: I'm intelligent. I've got a brain!

Tin Man: I'm happy. I've got a heart!

Lion: I'm strong and brave. I have courage!

S.T.L. : Thank you wizard!

Dorothy: But I can't go home (crying)

S.T.L.: Poor Dorothy!

ACT SIX

( Glinda enters)

Tin Man: Look, it's Glinda ! She can help Dorothy!

Dorothy: Oh Glinda! Can you help me?

Glinda: Remember Dorothy, you've got the magic shoes! Click your heels three times and say “There's no place like home”. You will fly to Kansas!

Dorothy: Goodbye Mr. Scarecrow. Goodbye Mr. Tin Man. Goodbye Mr. Lion. Goodbye everyone!
