PV belts are divided in five different profiles to cover the needs of a wide range of applications. The dimensions andproperties of each profile, are summarised in the following table:

Dp : The pitch diameter is used to calculate the transmission ratio and the belt speed.

Deff : For grooved pulleys, the effective diameter is equal to the outside diameter.

Dout : Depending if the pulley is flat or grooved the value h or hr have to be added in order to calculate the pitch diameter of

the pulleys.
