BRIEFING Prepared by a group of architecture students in the American University in Cairo in order to brief University of Rome La Sapienza Italian Students on the history, architecture and the general behaviors in the square.

The team members are: Ahmed Tarek Zaky, Aya Fayez, Salma El- Lakany, Hassan Safwat, Nagla El- Koreiby, Mariam El-Ibyari and Shahd Omar.

FINAL POSTER After a 10 days workshop, a schematic design was

produced.

The final idea of the

design is to create the

maximum open area for

the pedestrian’s use. In

addition to having the

total area without any

vehicle circulation

inside as a park, the

ground floor of the

buildings were designed

to be demolished such

that a totally opened

area is created.
