Opening remarks

National Disability Survey was conducted as a follow-up to the 2006 Census of Population using responses to a self-completed census disability question (Q15) to select sample

First results will be published on 30 June based on around 15,000 private household returns and 650 institution returns

disability status, levels of activity, age group, sport played etc.

Dataset was linked to labour force interview so some of the LFS variables are attached (educational attainment, employment status etc.)
