PURCHASING (NIGP) CODES

All notifications from the San Antonio electronic Procurement System (SAePS) are based on NIGP codes. In an effort to maximize small business participation, the City of San Antonio’s (COSA)

Transportation & Capital Improvements (TCI) Department created a tailored listing of architecturaland engineering (A/E) NIGP codes anticipated to be used for COSA capital improvement projects. All architectural and engineering consultants interested in doing business with COSA should use the following customized list of A/E NIGP codes when registering with SAePS to identify the services your company provides.

Note: Please do not select NIGP codes for which you CANNOT do business. Failure to select the appropriate NIGP codes will distort the City’s analysis of potential vendor availability and may result in a small business compliance goal that is unattainable.

Consultants who need help identifying which A/E NIGP codes are applicable to their company should contact the TCI Contract Services Division at 207-2146.
