-dependent, essentially, on two skills :

- Able to see clearly and understand what

is being seen- Being able to use the

mark-marking material effectively

- Clear understanding of the purpose of

drawing and its value in children’s learning

- Organised purposely drawing

activities for children

- Skills that has to be practices and

rehearsed

- A search for a visual equivalency
