What are Satellite Classes•In ATTAIN, Satellite lectures are delivered from Central Studio to classrooms via VSAT mode. These lectures are attended LIVE by the students in the classroom.•The Faculty appears on a big screen in each of these classrooms equipped with HD clarity picture & stereo clarity sound system

ARE SATELLITE CLASSES LIKE INTERNET CLASSES?

Internet Video Classes use the public internet which is not consistent because of variable internet speed and thus results in streaming and buffering causing loss of sync between voice and picture; Whereas ATTAIN satellite classes use a private internet where transmission is at a consistent high bandwidth rate, thus leading to superior quality video & audioSatellite classes are more reliable than internet videoconferencing as it uses lesser terrestrial infrastructure

Is Interaction possible in this medium?

CAN FACULTY SEE & HEAR ME?The faculty can see the classrooms in front of him. The faculty can zoom into any classroom to see & hear the students clearlyThe Central Control Room is constantly viewing, monitoring & recording class movements

Classrooms are air-conditioned, and have:• Large projection screen• High-quality IP Camera• Comfortable seating• Ambient Lighting • Stereo Quality sound system &• Advance quality MIC.

All classrooms are manned by a Centre Coordinator for student handholding

How would be the classroom setup?

There are 3 different ways of interacting:- 1.MIC Query: one of the common ways to interact is talking over mic with the faculty. He can hear you and answer you through his mic. This interaction could be heard in all centres.2.CHAT: Text Message through our Real Time Collaboration system (RTC) which reaches the faculty instantly3.Other Systems will also be introduced in due course.

Will I be able to interact with the faculty? How?

Yes the queries asked through the mic would be resolved via conversation.The queries asked via CHAT would be addressed immediately, or at the right moment by the faculty

Will my queries be resolved during the class?

Team ATTAIN

No, there would be the component of EYE CONTACT, interaction with faculty could be done looking in his eyes directly. Absence of physical touch can be overcome by experienced faculties by adding component of human emotions like patting and clapping.

Will the component of Eye Contact during lectures be missing in this medium.

Normally the class would have a doubt clearing section, this could be in the middle or at the end of class.You would also be provided with the unique mail ID for each subject where you can put the queries. Normally queries would be resolved within 2 working days.

How will I clear my doubts after the class

• Regularity of Class: In other coaching centres the Faculty travels-in from outstation locations. Since travel in India is unpredictable and fraught with fatigue, classes are delayed, sometimes cancelled, and in quite a few instances the announced/expected faculty is replaced by a more junior and inexperienced member. But in ATTAIN the same faculty would be taking classes in all the centres, no discrimination would be done on centre basis. • Cost Factor: Students usually relocate to Metros/Bigger cities to get coaching from Good Quality Faculties. At ATTAIN coaching is available at hometown from the same experienced faculty, students can attend lectures at a centre near to their colleges
